I forgot to mention this conversation.

Also, yesterday at work I met a girl who I went to school with. She's nice looking now and we were talking for a good 10 minutes about school, what we both did after school and what were both aiming for. Was a cool conversation and had fun.

I also found out that i went to school for 11 years with 1 of my work colleuges so we are constantly stopping and having a laugh, chatting about different things and so on.

My fears about people from school seem to be squashed.


Shah, my problem with #closing was that I'd probably be breaking work regulations and we aren't allowed to carry anything with us on the shop floor. I could give her my number though. Meeting them and other people outside of work is cool and in all honesty I don't know why I didn't #close at least 1 girl yesterday.
Need to start ding that more often.

Yeah Serendipity, I think I feel now that talking to people all the time is just what I should be doing. I find when I'm out of work or whatever and I see people, I have a chat about loads of different things. After work I always chat with a few different work colleagues and have a laugh, chat to my managers and then Mel on customer service desk. Think they all think I'm a right sociable bugger.

Nah customers wouldnt be a good idea but work colleagues is ideal. Then the randomers you speak to un the day. Pretty much any girl will give you her number.

There's 2 work collegues that like me, I know 1 of them talks about me to some of the girls and the guys I have a lot of banter with. I'm going to get her number.

Yesterday a girl got on the bus, walked right down to where I was sitting, sat on the chair parallel to me, then moved and sat on the chair behind me. I knew she was interested. She moved again, back to the chair parallel to me, looking at me often, smiling and so on. I knew she was getting off at my stop so decided to wait till then to chat. Allowed her to get off the bus first, which was kinda funny because she smiled, laughed, stumbled and dropped most of her stuff; in that order.

Had a good 10 minute conversation, nearly got ran over twice.


On the way back home, I got chatting to a 68 year old drunk guy who ended getting missing his stop and having to walk a good 800 metres extra.

Good work for taking action upon recognising the girl was interested. Did anything transpire beyond a pleasant conversation?

Yep I got her number and at the same time we pritty much set up another meet. Haven't text her yet but I've noticed that I've been getting a lot more attention recently.

I'm also touching a lot more, whether that be to emphasise a point or to do it for the sake of doing it. I'm still almost forgeting to get the number though, sounds stupid and not sure why its happening.

Sounds good. Keep practicing touching her, and keep in mind getting the number with every set, even if it wasn't the best of sets. You can then start practicing texting girls.

I have the works xmas party in a few days too until about 5am, abit crazy since some of us have work at 6am. I was asked by nearly everyone in management and in my department to go, which makes me feel like I've bonded really well with all the staff since I only started working there 3 weeks ago.

Our xmas party also involves staff from another store which is cool, so I will get a few numbers that night. Also, I have a novelty xmas dancing santa hat which everyone loves, so it'l be making another appearance.


Night game isn't my strong suit so I'm looking forward to testing myself.

Question: Getting the number. I think I'd just rattle something off in the moment easily enough, some form of "I'm gonna get back to my mate.. Give me your number ect..". Do you guys have a kind of pre thought out number close you'd normally use or is it more in the moment?

I mingled well but always with the same few groups, which sucked. I had a few girls complimenting me and I didn't follow up properly, even though 1 of these girls was a hottie and was waving smiling etc.. From across the room.

I seemed to be more focused on observing who liked me rather than taking action; I'd basically fucking hover around. Talk to people now and then, dance a little. I really don't feel comfortable in a club or just gererally within a party setting. That needs to change.

The girl i thought liked me was staring and making eye contact, playing with her hair and maybe gave me chances to talk to her in the beginning but I blew it by simply not dancing and another guy got her (possibly since she acted more friendly than flirty) because he was the centre of her attention. I'll chat to her tomorrow at work and draw the line at the outcome.

2-3 other girls I chatted and flirted with. I also danced with another girl a bit.

But generally as a whole I feel it was £40 not well spent. I was piss poor. Not drunk after 10 pints and really annoyed with myself; I had plenty of oppertunity.

First dabble of night game wasn't good at all and far as I'm feeling right now.
