Headed out into Manchester saturday night with some old school friends, went to a few pubs , not much happening then went over to our old haunt 42nd street ... for old times sake. Clocked a couple of girls on the dance floor surrounded by AFC's waiting in line to have a pop , i couldn't help thinking that is what i really want to avoid being!

A few minutes later i saw them both at the bar without their hangers on. I had to go over , i would have been annoyed with myself otherwise. I opened with the first thing that came to mind.

"are you not bored of saying no to all those guys?" (don't know wether it was alright but sparked a convocation.)

they replied by saying the other guys we "creepy" and "weird" I then went on to do a coin routine i read about in the game. (pretty naff really , but it was fun) then we got our drinks and i suggested we find a corner to sit in. chatted about general stuff for a few minutes , then one of my friends came over , pretty drunk, i had a feeling he was going to blow it for me so i number closed and cut my losses.

later in the night we bumped into the girls on the way out, turns out one of them was driving so they offered us a lift back to my mates apartment in Salford, chatted about music etc along the way, turns out we have a similar music taste and both work in a school. i tried to convince my mate to invite them in , he was having none of it though .... (his girlfriend would have killed him for sure) so they went off on their way and i got my head down on my mates sofa. I made sure to text her that night , something id seen shahanshah do in a previous post.

July 14th - Alicante

Whilst on the way to Benicassim Festival i stopped off in Alicante for a couple of days before with the friends i was going to the festival with. We stayed in a Hostel, which felt really normal for me after backpacking for 6 months so i immediately felt in my comfort zone.

The night before we were leaving we had a few drinks at the hostel and chatted to some girls we had just met , 6s & 7s but really nice girls then headed down to the beach armed with beers. We stayed out till around 3am at the beach then headed back. When we got back i stayed up talking on the staircase for a while with a girl who id met earlier in the night, that had gone out separate and got back to the hostel at the same time. We'll call her redhead7.5. We chatted about travel etc. I tried to change the atmosphere so went and sat next to her and talked about a game of "i have never" we had all played earlier in the night, the mood immediately changed when we started talking about sex, i saw a mischievous glint in her eyes. My next move was to try and break the touch barrier, i did this by betting her a euro that she couldn't guess which part of the body has the most nerve endings and hence best for massages. she said spine which is probably right but i said "no , its your hands ... look i will show you" took her hand and started massaging it. she seemed to like it because she asked me do the other i said that our talking was going to wake people and i will do her other hand somewhere quieter, so we went to the only private place in the hostel at that time which was the reception. whilst down there we chatted some more and i massaged her other hand. I was running through things in my mind how i could kiss close her. What came out of my mouth next was effective but must have been one of the cheesiest things I've ever said, the thought makes me cringe now! i saw it on a video on a thread here! "do you have an excuse not to kiss me yet" she didn't ... we kissed ... then had sex .... great sex in the hostel reception, on the desk , on the sofas and on the pingpong table. I got 1 hours sleep that night before catching my bus to the festival but was pretty buzzing the next day despite the lack of sleep.

August 2nd

Im not sure wether to put this down as a field report , i feel like its cheating a bit because i already knew the girl but i will get it down anyway.

3 years ago i met a cool girl in a grimy indie club in Manchester , dated casually for a couple of months but never went any further because she went abroad to study for a few years, stayed in touch loosely on Facebook. She came back for the odd weekend and christmas etc but we hadn't met up for 2 years. She got back 10 days ago and we arranged to meet up for a drink. On the way to meet her my train was delayed so i was running 10 minutes late, she waited for me in the bar i suggested we meet in , when i got there i couldn't believe how much fitter she'd gotten, france and austria had been kind to her! She was a solid 8/8.5!! if you do numbers, unbelievable jeff! We ended up going from bar to bar round the northern quarter in manchester, chatted about old times, travel stories etc i showed her some origami I've recently learned from a waiter friend, making swans and flowers out of the napkins you get with your drinks .... seemed to go down well (i have done it a few times before and it always goes down well) We spent the majority of our time in the last bar (walrus) kissing in the corner, which i didn't anticipate or set out for particularly. She's a cool girl so i didn't want to push it too soon, also we both live with our parents so she got in her cab later on and i went home feeling pretty pleased with myself on the 192 bus. I was surly the happiest person on the 192 ... but thats not difficult at 2.30 on a saturday morning!

October 19th

I know I've been sloppy with my reports in the last few months , i need to get back into the habit of writing them, and i haven't had much opportunity to practise game lately due to a combination of work/football/saving etc. I know i shouldn't make excuses and you can practise anywhere but its not been at the forefront of my mind.

But last night i went to MCR for a work colleague's birthday party but 1st I met up with Shah and Josh20 from here for a beer , it was good to finally meet people from the forum after being on here a while. The birthday was a bit of a let down though , constant moving from bar to bar people arguing where to go etc. I spent most of the time i was there talking to a colleague i was sleeping with for a spell last summer then decided to go around 1am because i had football the next day, and didn't want to get myself in the pickle i did last summer. Although , on the bus on the way home i did get chatting to an american girl who's studying here (something i probably wouldn't have done if i hadn't met the guys earlier, talking about PUA seemed to refresh my enthusiasm for it.) Before i had chance to make any sort of number close she was getting ready to get off the bus with her friends, but on her way off she gave me her card with her uk number and said i should contact her. Im pretty sure its not for business reasons either .... she's a make-up artist apparently.

Or maybe i look like i need a make-over ....

Friday 1st November

I was heading into manchester for 2 of my friends joint birthday drinks, they weren't heading out till later and at the moment I'm really trying to keep my "game" ball rolling so i met up with Shah for a few early pints.

In the bar , we chatted about game & normal stuff, then a few pints later we ended up making roses from napkins ... random i know! Then throwing them behind passing women (i say women in the loosest possible way, many were .... errrmm .... more like creatures of the deep) "excuse me , you dropped something" hahaha We thought this was hilarious , the women ... not so much.

A few minutes later a pair of girls came and sat on the table across from us, i said to shah "they sound spanish" he said to "ask them!?" This is the sort of push i need , normally i would have just wondered and not done anything , but it turned out to be a decent enough opener and I asked them over to our booth , in return for showing them how to make the roses. After a few more drinks , i was already late to meet my friends but the girls seemed pretty cool , so in the end we all went together to Mojo's, the two spanish girls , shah, Xfactor chris (who joined us just as we were leaving, nice to meet you by the way man) and myself. On the way there, crossing the road i grabbed her hand , and ran across the road with her , then teased her for being slow. We then had a race to the nearest lamppost. I won , despite my choice of "indie boy pointy shoes." Got to mojo's more drinks went down , bit of dancing etc. Managed to get to chat to my target alone when her friend was speaking to shah, (top wingmaning by the way pal.) All was going swimmingly until then.

It was when we moved on that things took a turn for the worse, being in a big group it took us ages to get anywhere/decide where to go, and when we did it was a chinese karaoke bar ... interesting. In the karaoke bar i got AMOG'd, tried all the usual things with my target ; ignored her, then she would come back over , then she'd go again , then come back again , for some reason i put her coat on , not quite sure why because i was pretty drunk by this point but it got her attention again , but when she came back over she could hardly stand up. I took this as a cue to go , as all my friends were heading off and i think shah had gone by this point!

So all in all not bad but could have obviously ended up better, on the plus side i put myself in a position i may not have been in normally and did pretty well some aspects of game, demonstrated a bit of value and a few pebbles etc, need to add generating attraction to that!

Thursday 21st November

Headed to MCR to meet up with the guys there who do improv , which turned into drinking in a pub , which didn't bother me at all, then headed out to 5th ave with Shah & Xfactor Chris. Within 2 minutes of being there Xfactor Chris was away chatting to a 2 set, whilst Shah nursed his hangover from the previous night & I headed to the bar repeatedly for dutch courage. After a while i found my feet and opened a few sets with my "jaffa cake opener." the opener went down well enough every time to spark conversations so i felt like i had the ball rolling.

Later on in the night i spotted a brunette walking past with a cool leather jacket on .... instantly i liked her, grabbed her , cant remember what i said now, something about could i pull off shahs beard? had a great chat with her, as i was talking she held my hand , loads of IOI's etc ... i isolated/took her to a different part of the club (even though she wasn't with friends when she walked past) chatted there, got loads of IOI's like her putting her hand on my thigh, holding my hand etc, after chatting for a while i number closed her, when she put her number in my phone i said we need a picture for your contact and took a selfie of the both of us, looking back i might have escalated this and took a silly picture of both of us , then a serious one etc (i think i read that in the game?) ... but never mind. I didn't want too spend all night with her because i didn't want too seem needy so we parted and i said id be in touch, but when we parted i said bye and went to kiss close her and she turned her cheek , which i couldn't understand from all the IOI's previously. Maybe she liked our conversation and wanted to carry it on or thought i wanted to leave because i have her number?

Anyway , we've been in touch since so its all good. Opinions/Advice welcome as always ... nice one

Yeah you did good. I mentioned in my field report that you are a good conversationalist with girls from what I saw. Its a tough call about whether to leave and go back to them later. Thats traditional pua but in my experience you ALWAYS lose them. Too many variables about. In fact part of the reason I didn't care to approach at the beginning is because I know my first few interactions go well and I didnt wanna end up losing out. Personally if a girl likes you, make it happen there and then. Be like 'we're spending the night together' type frames.

Hang with her mates, your mates etc. Thats what ive started to notice anyway. Maybe im wrong.
