I'm not saying this is the problem, but I've started re-reading the game, and got to the part where Strauss talks about being scared to break the rapport and trust he's built. This makes him think there's still a nice guy lurking in his head that he needs to get rid of.

I think that's the problem I've got at the moment. I think if the convo part of the interaction is going well then the rest will just happen by itself. It's only after the event, when the window of opportunity has long closed that I realise I should have escalated.

yeah i sort of get that , I'm going to try to be more flirty , cocky funny and break the touch barrier earlier. Like getting out of the blocks earlier rather than to ease myself in! ...... come to think of it , the last couple of number closes i got were when i grabbed girls who were on the way past etc.

Years ago I was talking to a woman sat next to me in a pub. She wasn't saying much but the way her eyes were looking at me I felt that it was on. I just thought "fuck it" and did something I saw a guy doing once which seemed to work for him...I licked the back of her hand.

Friday 20th December

As well as sports coaching i work for a small company a few hours a week for a bit of extra income , originally it was to help pay off my backpacking debt but now I'm saving to go away again the extra cash is useful. I went on their christmas do friday night in Bredbury hall , its a restaurant/hotel/club type venue, it sounds strange if you've never been but never mind. The people who work with me at my other job are mainly older ladies 50's and 60's and a couple of guys so i wasn't hitting on them ....

Anyway , later in the night i found myself rather merry on the free booze and dancing away stupidly with all the older girls from work in the disco area , it got to about 2am so people started to head home , but i headed back into the bar area with 2 of the work girls who wanted to stay a while and i went to the bar whilst they got seats, when i got back they were chatting away to 2 women who it turns out are in their late 30's both really pleasant but one was a genuine MILF! like a solid 8/10!! I sat down across from the MILF and started chatting after being introduced by the work girls. After finishing their drinks my 2 work colleagues leave and left me with the MILF and her friend. I tried to progress on the areas I want to work on like flirting more etc, we ended up staying for an hour , singing on the karaoke and i drank some of their champagne, at the end of the night we went to get our coats, a few weeks ago i would have said "nice to meet you" etc and tried to get a number but I've been trying to move away from that and be more persistent and bolder. But the MILF said she didn't want to go home yet so i said "lets go back to mine, i have some beers and some tunes." so we hoped in a taxi and made the short 5 minute journey to mine. When we got there they played with my cat whilst i got some beers & some snacks , then they asked to put music on, i said that ''my laptop & speakers and my record player are in my room, we should go up there" When we got there we sat on the bed, the other woman was happily married according to the MILF so it ended up me and the MILF making out and fooling around while her friend played on my laptop and pissed around with my records. Unfortunately i wasn't able to go any further because her friend was sat at the end of the bed, but i still had a laugh.

And i know what you're going to say!! why didn't i try for the threesome??? , and yes i did hint and give it a go, (i would have kicked myself if i didn't) I tried to tempt them into kissing each other and stuff but the 'happily married' one wasn't having any of it .... fair enough , i still had fun. After a couple of hours they decided to go but before they did I grabbed the MILF's number and I've been in touch so hopefully meet up with her again.

Good report. You did very well here turning what could have been a pretty average night into something more memorable. You saw an opportunity and ran with it. It also shows that nothing is a lost cause. The main thing is to get out and see what happens.

Friday 14th February

So I've been out of the game for a while , i combination of saving cash, not much opportunity to go out etc.

But headed out to MCR to meet up with Shah & Dee friday. After a quick one ... or two in Piccadilly we headed over to a student club.

Pretty much straight after checking in my coat i was walking through the crowd behind a girl and her friend who suddenly stopped and turned round and caught me right in the balls with her swinging arm , which really hurt! When i regained my composure i was able to engage in conversation by asking them if any of them or their friends were nurses who would take a look, got a few giggles. One of the girls was cool and we started talking and had quite a bit in common. Her friend started beckoning her to go a few minutes later, so i grabbed her number and we've been in touch since.

After losing Shah and Dee i bumped into an old college friend who was chatting to 2 girls, as you do , i helped him out and was able to practise something id wanted to try for a while ... I'm naturally a little cheeky but really wanted to push being cocky funny. It seemed to work well because the more negs i gave the more she came back. We eventually headed down to the dance floor and then all back to their accommodation, a few months ago i would have said "oh nice to meet you" "ill grab your number" etc but this time i was more forward , i think this is a good thing, must be growing in confidence.


Hopefully i can keep the ball rolling now and get out a bit more.
