Personally I find like any American based self-help program PU is very much great principles, wrapped in marketing to make you feel like you are getting something for your money.

Tyler spends 20hrs telling you to
"Be not do"
this could be squeezed down to probably a 4 hour session tops!

It is the same with mystery, ross jeffries, david DeAngelo and all of the other guys. They market these "magic pills" to guys who are at a low point and feel they need extreme help when realistically they need a leg-up

If somebody brought out a decent book that was probably about 60 pages of brutally honest advice about becoming socially adapted and strong willed; it would be the best fucking book ever for getting you laid.

Instead people think if they increase it 10 fold with waffle they can sell this shit for 10 times the price. Either that or they have deluded themselves into thinking it actually works.

PUA is a crutch to help you consciously display traits that alpha males have. PUA should help you get up onto your own feet until you can embody and live in those traits, slowly writing them to muscle memory (subconscious memory?) and embodying them all the time, until you no longer need to be thinking, and instead feeling out situations and knowing that you're capable of.

PUA has a purpose, but it's hardly the final step in the solution.

I believe the majority of blokes (well the ones I know)
AREN'T getting laid as much as they'd like

Hence the success of PUA.

Simples

I can see a lot of it is "Faking" alpha-ness.

But this IS important for those of us who aren't particularly Alpha

Because (on a night out) Girls are shallow fuckers

You think i enjoy being the short arse in a crowded bar that is constantly getting jostled out of the way?

I mean yeah I can get talkign to girls and it can go nowhere and I can think to myself "Yeah she's not good enough for me, I've got a hell of a lot going fo rme in my life"

But it doesn't get me laid

I am very lucky in my life in meeting two people who were solid like rocks. I am very very lucky actually. It was more ground breaking meeting these two people than reading all the pua crap i have read (and by the way i started reading it 10 years ago).

I will also offer a community that doesnt want you to change. Thinks you are perfct as you are. It has done wonders for me. So if anyone has a chord struck with what i am saying. Head on over to Balanced View - Short Moments of Clarity, Repeated Many Times and have a scan of their website. An open mind is required (i was just desperate for relief from the pain which was really what i was using pua for). It is all free.
