PUA is a crutch to help you consciously display traits that alpha males have. PUA should help you get up onto your own feet until you can embody and live in those traits, slowly writing them to muscle memory (subconscious memory?) and embodying them all the time, until you no longer need to be thinking, and instead feeling out situations and knowing that you're capable of.

PUA has a purpose, but it's hardly the final step in the solution.
