Your second paragraph about relationships.. this is true, they are not all black and white, we all feel different things for different people..

ive got a few female friends some that i dont see for years at a time, they come round, we cook, have a catchup and wine and have sex. then i see them in another year.

i think it just makes us better friends, i dont invite them to mine with the reasoning that i want to fuck them either, if it happens it happens if not it doesnt, i dont care.

You see for me, I couldn't do that. To have sex, I have to be attracted to them, and when I'm attracted to them I always want it to go further because I like the girl. If I want them as a friend, then I feel no attraction to do anything.

Each to their own I suppose but my impression of people who do that is that they can either completely disassociate sex from emotions or that they are just horny and know that this 1 person will give them what they want. I wouldn't call once a year exactly a friendship but it just seems a bit shallow to screw someone that you don't really have any interest in. But that's me, I don't geddit because I don't see the point.

I think, you think about sex way too much. You don't have to "disassociate emotions" to have fuck buddys. You can love them as a friend. You can love them as a person but not be mutually exclusive. You can still have hot, passionate, loving sex (if you want to) with fuck buddys or ONS.. Legend said he makes love to girls, but I doubt he marries them all! Whereas phil most likely gives them the good fucking they deserve.. but in the end, they are all fuck buddies, unless it turns to something else..

Take this as an example..

You meet a hot girl, she is a stunner, the best girl you have ever met. The connection is so intense. It is unreal. She is THE ONE AND ONLY. You decide not to bang her until you are an item, as it would be using her blah blah. You get her in the bedroom, and she is terrible in bed. Not interested in sex. No passion. No lust. No anal. Just plain, boring old married missionary.. This is why you fuck the girl first!!!

That's fair enough, you don't go back...it happens.
But what if she was just ok or better than average but you didn't want a relationship. For me that would be the end of the attraction. It seems for you guys, you just carry on boning away regardless the next time you meet them - I personally don't see the point in a fuck buddy - better to get a relationship, you get more out of it.

What if you just got cheated on by 5 relationships in a row, and you feel you are not ready for a relationship yet and want to play the field and remain single and explore different women?

What if you have a career that does not really enable a full time relationship? Where you work away 6 months at a time, then you just want to play the field a bit, and still enjoy passionate sex but without getting married?

It's not flawed, it's just different. I said each to their own above but it's difficult to appreciate people's different viewpoints just as you can't appreciate mine when I say it's better to be in a relationship.

How old are you BTW as it might be a difference in the apsects here but that just seems to me to be bizarre. You've got to know that it's about 90% likely to happen if they come round and everytime they come round you have sex. I just don't see the point personally, it's like it's almost all about the act for you rather than the person. Purely just friendship, no lust or emotions. So the sex isn't lust?
