I really like to think that it's not so important on how many approaches you try, just that you don't find yourself unwilling to try, and that you learn from each one. I mean if you can learn just as much from 3 approaches as you can from 15 then great, go for 3 but its what works for you (needless to say the efficacy of your evaluation skills may need to be examined).

For newbie's it can be helpful to just try as many as you can just to get past that fear of social inadequacy, and it's true it can help, but the habit isn't sustainable, you carry on like that and each social interaction is going to have less and less importance in your learning experience.

Just my opinion anyway.

We all would mate... Life would be so much easier. Having said that, I've come to realise that the process is possibly more fun than attaining a certain goal.

Wouldn't necessarily say the journey is better than the destination, or else you might lose the enthusiasm for the goal, more so that the journey shapes your character. To realize what your destination might actually be.

Right, I came here to see what people thought about the whole Risk of becoming exposed situation.

Turns out it just rapidly turned into a debate about approaching x number of women.
This is a bit frustrating due to the fact I live in a town of bout 9,500 people. Have lived hear all my life (I'm 22) and drink in the same two pubs pretty much every Friday and Sat.

So if it where to of been a topic about exposure it would of helped me quite a bit just getting different views n shit. But seems as I've got this far on this post I might aswell give my opinion on what everyone els is talking about.

Approaching more women will obviously benefit you quicker if you are learning of every approach. But if you go out and tell yourself 'right, I'm approaching 10 girls tonight' but you only see about 7 you're interested in, or the 1st one you open you really get along with, then the goal of approaching 10 thing is a bit pointless.
(just using 10 as an example)

I remember the 1st bit of day game I tried. I Told myself I would just try and open. I opened 2 sets, that's all. the 1st interaction lasted about 3 minuets. the 2nd lasted 15 and just by doing those 2 sets changed my game, positivley of course! But I was satisfied with just doing 2 and went home on a high. So I think its just going to be one of those things which is different for everyone.
I'd say just do it till you feel satisfied, and if approaching x amount satisfied you then good, do it!

Witty Pun, you need to move to a bigger town. At your age mate you really should get out there, Im from a small town originally and if you dont get out at young age chances are you'll stay there for life whilst also developing an unhealthy 'small town' mentality. A lot of my friends have it, they're all narrow-minded, cynical and have never really lived. Needless to say none of them get girls either!

Definitely have to agree here, this is exactly what I did 6 months ago, funnily enough from the same area, and I cannot imagine ever going back the experience is amazing.

when I did my 1st ever bit of day game that I mentioned I didn't do it in my town. Went to Chester.

I wouldn't be keen on moving to a completely different location and having to change my entire life just to meet more women. I'm happy, just be fun to get laid more. My life doesn't revolve around women. That's what being in a relationship is :P

Just if I'm going to do some day game I've got to drive for a wile I suppose. Same if I want a target rich environment on the weekend I would have to organize a night clubbing somewhere.
