I regularly watch these Kata Bunkai videos on youtube. Seems a pretty effective style focused on attacking the head. Not seen any floor grappling in it tho. This guy is also a great example of situational confidence and public speaking. Would recommend checking out some of his other vids.
I get two chairs, and a broom handle laid over the top, lay flat on the floor and grasp the broom handle with my finger tips, then curl my fingers upwards, then back down. Ten reps, 5 sets.

thanks holmes. might try that out. To be honest i posted this a while back now and i think im over it. As it turns out, doing squats with dumbells (which i mentioned i was doing at the tart of the thread) is in itself a good way to improve grip strength. Plus ive developed calouses (or however u spell it) on my hands now. So basically i was just partly being impatient and mostly just being a faggot.
Phenom, where do ya train? im a predators in manchester.
ahh i see yeah. kinda like a makeshift wrist roller. one or two of those seem a bit pointless if your lifting weights anyway but theres definitaly some gems in there if i run into problems again. thanks dude.
