I left work early so did an hour or so game on the streets before heading up to my mate's birthday. Had a very quick but pretty ace interaction with a fashion designer. She asked if I was an artist, nice cold read girl. She then asked for my facebook. After some flirty banter we've decided to hook up next week.

Saturday

All day I struggled to get any girl to stop and chat, none would 'hook'. I only got one number all day, but this one was interesting. It was a seated 3 set, a girl with her girl and guy friends, and it just seemed to go so fucking well. The guy had his head buried in his phone, and the girl friend was grilling me a fair bit, but i just brushed it all off. Later I messaged the girl and she got all wet at the fact I was at home painting canvases. She wants to come see me wkd after next, as she lives in Leeds.

The girls are getting pretty turned on by the fact I am 'an artist', but mainly because I mention this incidentally. I used to use this as a selling point, and this probably didn't help.

I approached every day except Thurs, this week I will continue. I have also stepped up the pace in other girls I approach, i.e. not Asian. I need to vary my scope.

Good work. Mentioning I'm a musician hasn't helped me in the women stakes. Though I did play something at a party once and a girl started crying.

True. Back then the only way I could convey my personality was through music. I'm more confident now to do it even without any instrument, my voicebox and presence is enough. That's a big step forward for me. I don't need to hide behind anything.

I'm sure you're an awesome musician but that statement could be taken either way...

haha no it wasn't tears of laughter. It was just the emotion. I asked her what made her cry and she didn't know. It just brought up a memory of her mum or something. That's what attracted me to music in the first place. Being shy I found it easier to convey things through music than face to face.

It's only now I'm starting to use eye contact and touching to do the same thing. It was too scary fore me before. But I suppose it was always there I was just too scared to show it. For fear of being rejected I suppose. After doing cold approach for a while it doesn't seem such a big deal now.

I like instant rapport/ assuming attraction. If I'm in that mode it usually goes well.

Well, if you are looking for a reaction, they will probably sense this and be repelled, hence why this used to get me nowhere. Now I just talk about things as they come up, and because it excites me. This in turn, excites the girls.

A couple of weeks ago at the Manchester Saturday Sarge I approached a girl who was in a group of 3, two girls one guy. I was mainly dealing with the best friend girl, as she tried to give me a hard time, and screened me for any sign of weakness. They all lived in Leeds and after a bit of texting with my target girl, she suggested she come see me in Manchester.

Two weeks on, she arrived on Sat morning to see me, and attraction was sky high. I took her hand and slowly led her back to mine showing her the cool architecture in Manchester. We sat on some seating near my place and she told me how she'd been drunk the night before and had made out with some girl. I took this as a cue to kiss her, so turned her head towards me and we made out. I needed the toilet, so we headed up to my apartment. We made out some more, she got turned on, so we fucked. All this within a couple of hours.

For me, this was in part down to the mixed set I approached. The guy looked almost scared of me, the girls super comfortable, and the best friend screened me and gave her friend (my target) the green light to come see me. After a week of awkward d2s where I'd forgotten how to escalate, this made a nice end to the week.
