I got back with my girl just before Christmas, think watching Love Actually went to my head. Now, after trying to make it work again I've broken up with her, she’s just generally the wrong girl for me. I was trying to make it work so much as she’s the hottest girl I’ve ever had the pleasure of dating/sleeping with/as a girlfriend. I was keeping it plodding along for the wrong reasons.

Anyway, as painful as it was to let her go, something I’m now excited about is the freedom I now have. It’s fucking exciting thinking about the possibilities of this clean break. Top of my wishlist is seeing more of the world, and I’m now toying with the idea of making a longerterm move to Asia, maybe English teacher or something like that.

So, as for what I want to achieve in the short to longterm? I want to get out in the day and night with the intention of talking to girls within any given environment. I have not done night game properly for years, time to bite the bullet!

Good luck with this mate. My situation is very similar to yours. I was with my girl for 18 months. We'd break it off and then get back together for 6 months before it would happen again. She was super stunning, amazing in bed and ticked most of my boxes. I got comfortable and just ignored the signs that she wasn't right for me.

It took loads of introspection and pain but despite the heartache of breaking things off I can totally see what you mean about the sense of freedom you now have.

For me I'm more focused on my training than ever. I'm actually getting some business ideas off the ground with some friends and like you I have some travel plans in the pipeline for Brazil or Thailand. The world is a very exciting place with so many possibilities for me right now.

On the way home I met one of my old gaming friends Shane. We hung out and caught up with how he was progressing. I felt great, my head was clear. As we walked and chatted Shane spotted a couple of girls for me to approach, the first one bombed, good to get back into things at the deep end The second one was a pretty cool girl, an artist from Romania... we chatted for fucking ages.

Funnily enough this links well with something else I started doing, writing out a list of what I want in a girl, and the reasons why. This is straight from the Natural Tim, Flawless Natural DVD, which I dusted off a couple of nights ago. Watching this reminded me of when I first met Jynx, Kowalski and Tom, and doing all the warm up exercises and games to get into state. Now I really want to do all that fun shit again! CYCLONE!!!

Saturday

I rock out of my apartment all showered and feeling pretty damn dapper in my cool new shoes. I walk into Next and this girl working in there stares at me with her mouth open and says hey. I walk over to the jeans and catch her looking over. I go over and ask her about some jeans I’m looking for. Her eyes are amazing, so fucking big. After a pointless but flirtatious conversation about jeans, her boss comes over and tells her it’s her break, I then leave. I should have suggested we go for a coffee.

An hour later I go back in the store and go right up to her and tell her I love her eyes. She’s all giggly and shy, and walks away around the jeans rack, still hoping I’ll continue talking though. I continue getting to know her, and then she tells me I should know she’s ‘kinda seeing someone’. I then bailed the scene. Should have carried on, I lost my nerve.

I then met up with Luther for a spot of day game action. We’d only been chatting for 1 minute and Luth had legged it over to a girl. He rejoined me and, after only 30 seconds of more chat he was off again. Something that struck me as I watched on was his persistence. Both girls tried to walk off past him, but he wouldn’t let them.

Beyond the Next girl I had a couple of decent interactions with average/cute looking girls. These were fun interactions and the girls were very comfortable with me. I finally got to chat with Luth, great lad. The evening came and I caught up with Dice over some real ale and metal in town.

Sunday

I left the house and was feeling a little groggy, but just accepted it rather than let it in the way, the cobwebs usually blow away once I’m in front of a girl! I wander around the shops, then spot a very cooly dressed Japanese girl. I approach her, and she doesn’t quite stop, I persist, she stops. We click instantly, and she is completely comfortable with me holding her hand. I lead her to the bar for a beer.

I get cosy with her and the sexual tension builds as I’m right in her space. She tells me about a road trip she went on in America, I ask her who she went with, she told me her housemate… and that her husband drove. She seemed to just be notifying me in passing, and then said something about him emailing her less from Japan. Over the course of the date I tried to kiss her a few times, but only got a peck on the lips from her. The husband was never mentioned again. As I departed the scene I hugged her and thought I’d kiss her on the cheek, she went for my lips, and gave me a sexy longing look as I let go of her hand. I think this girl might want a little bit of fun while she’s here in England.

I then hit Aldi for my groceries and naturally see a couple of cute Asians to approach. I end up whipping out my shopping list and telling them all about new recipes I was going to try that night, and they got well into it. Funny.

Lessons? Luther opened up my mind to persistence, and how the boundaries are probably not as close or fixed as I tend to assume, particularly when a girl doesn’t stop straight away. I had unreal comfort with girls this wkd, could probably take some more risks next wkd and escalate faster.

I now no longer want to distinguish between anything I do with regards to my self-improvement, be it talking to girls in the day or night, or how I intend on being healthier through better diet and exercise. Speaking of which…

Last week I got back on my healthier eating and also stopped drinking in the week unnecessarily at home (which in turn led to me wasting time on the internet). I have also started painting again, with a view to pulling together a collection of 6 artworks by the end of March.

I have also now decided on a set exercise regime, which consists of jogging for at least 20 mins at least twice a week, followed by 15 minutes of weights to work my arms and shoulders, then 5 minutes of situps. This will increase.
