This completely misses the point. The leader of a caveman tribe was very likely also the best looking guy. High testosterone levels in males, cause assertive and dominant behaviour. They also cause a lean muscular physique, large square jaws, even teeth and symmetrical features, otherwise known as "good looks".

I read the results of a research into male testosterone levels and the two guys with the highest levels were a model and a rugby player.

Good looks are an advertisement for good genes, which create strong healthy babies who grow into dominant tribal leaders.

Of course personalities, creativity, and a high intellect didn't come into play much in those days and the Game had yet to be written. PUA teaches you to trick a woman's subconscious into believing that you have the highest testosterone level. If it all works, will the quality of the human gene pool begin to suffer?

It would take centuries before there would be any dramatic changes in human genes, not something we need to worry about. If you are referring to good genes as good looks, then I don't even think future generations are going to worry about a reduction in quality of good genes either, as we all know looks are only fractionally important in a relationship. All they do is help create initial interest between men and women.
