I suppose the difference is I'm attracted to her and probably deem her too good for me. Also she does wait a few hours between texts, which I'm reciprocating. Where as lower quality girls I don't feel the need to try and be more challenging..

Deep rooted insecurity I suppose..but it's strange cause at the same time I'm secure in myself in every other way..until it comes to a hot girl. Probably pretty common come to think of it.

This is a bit of a crude way of working out this issue, but in this instance you're best off getting at least another girl or two to text to keep your mind off things. Then you don't really care as much for this 'main' girl.

However, from what you said it sounds as though she's pretty interested, so chill out. Just take her on a date already. Ask less questions.

hah...well I'm actually texting two girls which are go'ers whenever really, but my interest in them has declined even more since new girl has entered the scene. I'll carry on texting them though, but just makes me feel like a bit of an ass.

Yeah, felt like last nights texting brought a bit of comfort into the relationship, so i'll ask her out tonight or tomorrow...Interacting with girls you really like is daunting stuff, especially as i'm a fussy bugger and they very rarely come along.

Why do you feel like an ass, do you not actually want to sleep with the girls? I think you need to start getting numbers of girls that interest you. Otherwise, what's the point?

Well mainly cause I know one in particular is getting attached..even though I said I wasn't ready for anything (with her)..Yeah, I would never sleep with a girl who I don't find attractive at all, but there's a difference between quite pretty and 'oh my god I want to pin this girl up against the wall and do her right now' kind of pretty. You know?

But yeah..essentially you're correct. I need to stop being a pussy and start approaching girls who are higher quality and I know I have a shot with.

I've been there. You think you're all alright, cos you've been at it a few months, few different girls and it's all cool. Then you get one that's a bit different and it annoys you that you're getting so bothered about it.

haha exactly!! I was happier when she wasn't a possibility, just working on myself, being in complete control of my own emotions. Now there's a potential for something great to happen..it's messed me up. That's the nature of it though I guess..Nothing worth having is obtained without a little bit of risk and putting your ego on the line. That is exactly why I've shied away from high risk/reward girls for the past year, which was a necessary process in letting my self worth recover after the breakup I think..but now it's time to grab this thing by the balls.

I cut the conversation last night and went to sleep, she didn't text back after that one. I already know this is a fucking pathetic question, but i'm going to ask it anyway; should I initiate the conversation again tonight or let her. :s
