I think the biggest thing i noticed with you sapmi was your body language. I spoke to you about this on the night. We were downstairs towards the end of the night in that club and you wanted me (lol) to wing you.

I hesitantly said yes, but we soon discovered she was alone. You walked towards her, but then stopped and started looking around. You were swaying too (you may have been dancing? i don't know lol). If she'd have seen this, it wouldn't have given her the greatest of first impressions.

You finally went in though and approached her which was great! Who cares if she had a boyfriend? You approched and that was the main thing. Like kow sez, it's great that you have loads of energy but you need to relax man.

I am by no means perfect and i'm sure i do many things wrong in regards to body language that i don't even notice myself. And atleast you had the balls to open sets (which i haven't done yet ), though i was winging jinx and swype in a few, where swype would open then leave me to my own devices...

I am very shy with women though. I was even nervous talking to some rats bird while swype was chatting up her hot mate lol. Just keep doing your thing sapmi, you seem like a great guy and you're good looking so you've got an advantage over other guys already!

I reckon (I hope ) that good body language comes from your inner state. If you're feeling the ultimate cool guy - that's how you'll come across. If you're feeling shit...that's how you'll come across....

It's hard to learn body language - I think it's just state. The more I feel cool, the better my body language will be.

Although, saying that..anyone know of or have any body language e-books? Maybe I can fix things quicker........

I just opened the door , the sets i opened for you weren;t exactly my type but as it was your first night i wanted you to get in sets chatting full stop , didn;t mean to leave you bro but i had other guys to help and my own fun to be had

For what it is worth, some constructive criticism.

I think you need to practice calm and continuous conversation - this will probably help you making the connections with the girls you speak to. Based on the things you say, based on the things she says, connections can start to happen.

If you are too high energy you might be preventing this from happening – you enter the set with high energy (which is good), but might need to crank it down a bit.

I don’t think you should worry about sitting and chatting to other guys when you are out. This is not lame in my opinion, just what people do!

Also, I would suggest that you think a bit before entering the set – this serves me well, but would be interested to see what K and Swype think. Remember the 10 (ish) set last night, where I spoke to one girl, ejected, then was thinking about re-entering?

I was trying to choose the right moment to re-enter – this deliberation was a bit stalled (I think a lot), but I did re-enter, and ultimately number-closed.

I sometimes think that good naturals (perhaps Kowalski, perhaps Swype) have internalised so much of the basics that they might not think about it anymore (but I would imagine that they still do it). Like good ways to introduce wings, a good time to open a set. So perhaps learning some outer stuff would be good.

Some really good constructive criticism in this thread which you should find really useful – I would appreciate this kind of commentary at some point – very useful stuff.

My non-pua friend: last night was the best form I have ever seen him in. Normally he doesn’t open, or opens sleazy and drunk. Last night he was very smooth – I was really impressed. Good body language, good opening. He is on a learning curve like us all.

Well, as far to as opening is concerned, I try to open as soon as I see someone I like. One can hesitate too much. For me, this would prevent me from opening as much as I have been. But I suppose it's what you feel comfortable in doing. As long as one is opening

In response to you wonderings from my side of things :

Do i think before i enter a set ? - Personally i think me and K are in agreement in this one . This is what i always do when i see a girl i like ... Take some time to appreciate her beauty and what makes her different and most importantly 'WHY you are attracted to her' (make sure you are well aware of this before you approach' . Finally , take time to get excited about talking to her , what upsets me is that so many guys see a hottie and get nervous !?? Why ... Get excited about the opportunity that lays before you .

So : Appreciate her , What do i like , Get excited (this can all happen within 20 seconds)

Outer game ? - I personally did take some time at the beginning of my road to SA , which has led to me internalizing a fair bit of MM , SS and other things . Now in time i have thrown a fair bit of this out the window but some aspects have stuck with me because i love them .

I play games with the girls alot as it's just abit different (alot of the guys have seen the games i play lol)
I tease girls (as has been said before this is NOT negging as im not trying to lower their value) but abit of teasing and push pull creates passion and alittle friction to vibe off
And i create love bubbles which are just fun as hell for me i.e married , divourced , we're breaking up , im keeping the tv and the dog ... whatever it's just fun !

Notice a pattern there ? It's all fun for me and not entirely focussed on her so we share the interaction !

Oh and as for intent and 'kino' im very forward on this , not pushy ... just confident in what i want and she knows i want her (hello ?? why else are you talking to an attractive girl in a club that you've never met before ... dont pretend to be her friend , you're there for a Reason !!)
