I wanted to reduce the chance of a flake so spent an hour with her just talking pretty normal stuff.

She responded to my first text right away and seemed keen to meet up. That's what I wanted to happen as most of the numbers I've got have flaked.

I've asked her out for a drink. No response yet.

Didn't go out drinking last night so was up early and off to the gym this morning feeling good.

It was wet in the morning so went up town later in the afternoon to meet wing.

It was a slow start but we eventually got talking to girls. As it got later a lot of the solo girls about were on their way to meet friends for a night out. Noisy hen parties were also gathering.

My wing opened two cute girls from Thailand, one had a tub of butter in her hand (a nearbye promotion stand was handing this out for free). We teased her about this and she said she thought it was ice cream. Giggles and laughter all round.

They were a bit nervous of being approached and didn't really settle down so we didn't ask them on a date. We probably should have asked them anyway.

My wing then stopped two dark skinned cuties at trafalgar square. They were english but has some more exotic heritage. Can't remember from where though. They were just in london for some festival and were heading home. They seemed a bit young anyway.

We were getting tired and my wing made one last approach near Picadilly circus. The interaction went on a while so I ended up chasing a girl who passed me along regent street. She had shopping bags and was going home for the night. I asked her for her number so I could take her out so she wouldn't be staying home next saturday night. She said ' No.. sorry'.

When I came back both wing and girl were gone. Off on a date I presumed (confirmed later by a text from him). Then I bumped into Johnny Berba who was meeting his date for the night and we had a chat until she showed up. She looked pretty hot.

My other wing showed up about then and we did a few approaches each. We went for some food then he left to go to a friends party.

I had some banter with a girl at the bus stop while I was waiting for the bus home. I accused her of stealing my seat but she got it was a joke and laughed. I ut my hand on her shoulder and she giggled. When her bus arrived she hesitated before getting on. Then she looked back at me from the door and said bye with a smile and wave. I realised then I probably missed an opportunity there.

Rather than get on my bus I headed back into town and tried a couple more approaches. I tried to change my openers because it was night time. That didn't work well and I'm realising I should just have done exactly what I do in the daytime. The only difference was the girls had had a drink so were a bit more cocky and also maybe more wary of strangers.

Getting off the tube there was an attractive 30's blonde woman in a black dress walking behind me in the tunnel. I got chatting to her on the escalator and asked her to join me for a drink. She was giggling and obviously flattered but eventually she came clean and said she had to go home to her family.

As tonight went on I got more into a fun /sponteneous vibe with girls and approaching got easier. Felt like I could approach anything anywhere.

I've not had any alcohol this weekend and it's definitely been better for my game and state of mind all round. A good rule for me would be to only have a drink (one) if I'm actually with a woman out on a date or at my/her place.

I'm back to work on Monday after a long break so will need to keep a clear head anyway for a while until I'm back in the routine.

The French girl I had the instant date with last week has gone quiet. I would have sworn that was going somewhere.

Lunchbreak from work went out for a walk.

G5 - Hot Phillipino girl - 3 minute convo - flattered but she walked.
G6 - Korean girl - got stare so chased and stopped. Language problem - reluctantly bailed as she seemed to want to stay.
G7 - Italian looking girl - great response to complement - said she had an appointment so had to go.
G8 - 2 Chinese girls - 5 min convo with me and wing - one girl really nervous - we bailed
G9 - Fast walking blonde in floral frock - chased and tried to stop - said she was in a rush and dodged. No chance to deliver compliment.
G10 - dark haired chunky but funky looking 7- said thanks but dodged the stop.

Best interaction was with the italian looking girl though it only lasted a minute but was intense. With hindsight I probably should have been able to keep her longer and get the number.

Lunchbreak from work went out for a walk.

G2 - Blonde ozzy girl on holiday - going home tomorrow so said goodbye to her

G3 - sexy blonde russian twenties girl in denim shorts - thought she made eye contact and gave a half smile so went after her - complement then walking and chatting to where she was going. We kept bumping together as we walked, hands brushing together. Felt like an instadate. She asked if she could browse a book stand and I said ok. I had to get back to work and she didn't have a mobile that works here. So that was that. She leaves London on Friday. Felt like I should have taken her somewhere to have sex there and then.

Went up town after work.

Did 4 more approaches, nothing really of note but good responses.

17 approaches in two days so trying to keep the momentum going. Almost an instadate in my lunchbreak which is a first for me.

Went to gym this morning. Up town in afternoon.

Approached about 8 women total I think.

A girl I stopped turned out to be a dating coach. I felt I handled that quite well. She had a bf but gave me her card. I've emailed her cause she's hot.

Indirect approach of english girl turned into an hour long convo. We both lost track of time. Lovely girl and we exchanged numbers.

While I was talking to the english girl the phone vibrated in my pocket. Itwas a match on tinder and she's hot.

some new leads at last but I know better than to build expectations.

update - 3 girls messaged on saturday night - 2 cold approach, 1 online - no responses.

Monday approaches

G1 - Spanish looking cutie stopped to fix her ponytail - complement - jumped out of her skin as I approached outside of her peripheral vision. I apologised - she recovered and said thanks but she had to go.

G2 - Romanian blonde caked in makeup but fit body - trying to get something from her handbag - hoped it wasn't the pepper spray - compliment - she thanks me but not receptive.

G3 -south american looking chick striding purposefully on other side of road - great legs - ran across and stopped her - compliment - she's totally gobsmacked - says shes from london and thanks but is late to meet friends - with hindsight should have closed but let her go.

G4 - Italian chick in running gear near my flat - walked along beside - looking at her phone she walked in a restaurant outdoor seating area by mistake - opened by teasing her about that - good response - she's responsive and slows down but doesn't stop. I peel off to my flat and we say bye.

Your past few reposts have been lists. You learning anything off of these conversations?

Been posting using mobile phone which is a pain. I learn something from every approach. e.g teasing girl 4 off the bat went well. Realised comfort is over- rated.

I didn't want to come off desperare and get flakey numbers but realising now it's pointless not asking.
