I'm really excited about it, but shit scared.

It's been some time since I actually posted a "field report", and its been some time since I could say I've been out in the "field", recently I've found that get girls isn't really an intrinsically specified and conscious activity for me, I rarely go out with the express intention of getting laid. That being said I do focus on going out, to meet new people and generally have fun.

On Thursday I had visited an expat meetup group in Berlin, it was fun and I meet a few interesting people, but nothing really of note. On the off chance I had decided to try a pub near my apartment on the way back, everybody was German however we had a bit of a laugh mocking my attempts at speaking in German (since most phrases you might learn are said as though addressed to your elders in a very polite way, it makes you sound funny when addressing, say a bartender).

We had a few drinks and made some jokes, and the girl behind the bar invited me to her birthday party the next day (last night), so I thought I'd stop by and visit. I got talking to a lot of people and this one girl sat next to me, I've never made it a habit to judge appearances out of 10, but she was pretty damned hot. Turned out she shared my love of whisky and we were discussing different types, I had mentioned that I had a bottle of a Welsh single malt in my apartment nearby and that she should come try some and we could return to the party afterwards (smooth).

She seemed happy to oblige, and of course one thing leads to another, and she leaves the next morning, a little late for work. It's funny to observe these "chance happenings", simply by trying out a new pub for the fuck of it.

So folks, I'm in London for the next four weeks, if anybody is around and fancies a pint, give me a shout!

This is really random but I found this thread after putting 'Glasgow' in the search bar. Is there anyone in Glasgow looking to go sarging? I'm a bit of a noob at this but I'm really keen to start going infield after watch so many RSD videos. I'm 23 years old for anyone who cares. Anyone about wanting to sarge?

Long time between posts as always, but a few things have happened and I've been busy dealing with shit. Long story short my albeit brief foray with this new company in Berlin has ended a little prematurely, both myself and the CEO agree its cultural differences. It could well be cultural differences, or it could be that I got drunk at a developer conference after party.

Anyway, I decided to stick it out in Berlin which involved me flying back last week with no job and no place to stay, pretty risky move tbh. Checked out airbnb, got a room for two weeks, and been doing interviews and looking for an apartment, a few interviews down and its looking good, got a room sorted for a few months also, which should be enough for me to find a proper tenancy in Berlin.

Turns out, getting your name on a lease is actually a really difficult process, the agents charge around 2500€ for brokerage fees (for renting), and getting one privately has that much competition you pretty much just have to wait for one of your friends to move so you can take over their lease.

Also, having a registered address is pretty hard too, since most people like to let out a spare room for a indeterminate amount of time, and don't like you getting registered there in case their landlord finds out.

Long story short, shit hit the fan, but I'm glad I got to go through this experience having to fend for myself as I felt a little mollycoddled having everything given to me by the company.
