Default some thoughts on 60's method - 06-04-2011, 06:57 AM

I liked his method a lot when I first read it. It's a more direct and natural way to do things and I would say a very healthy way of looking at this problem.

However, after applying his method I discovered two things:
1. It's up to you how much you want to get into it... I would say that only if you are a little desperate you will really go as far as to "be creepy". I don't agree with 60 here. I think that if you apply just half of what he says you don't need to risk anything most of the time. And here is where the second part begins:

2. I discovered that "not doing/saying anything combined with "the look" like looking in her eyes with that sort of energy, most of the time (that is if you are really comfortable with yourself, confident and not giving a shit about winning or losing) you will feel you can instantly create a non-verbal connection with that girl. Because of this now I started to think about "the look" as a genuine weapon. I was really impressed about the effect that this can create. But I repeat: this is JUST if you have a good solid base... like knowing things about body language, being very confident and relaxed etc.

Except 60's method I like some of what Gambler is teaching... but in the end I think 60 is the most straightforward and he just did something witch had to be done earlier: writing these things very clear and simple and showing how you can be truly and effortlessly natural.

60's stuff is good for the meditations it has and less for the method, imo. Like he has his own tips and techniques which he shares, but doesn't enforce, instead focusing on certain perspectives and perceptions that will improve your 'inner game' or whatever.

Mostly really solid though, bar a few OTT and controversial (though not without thought) idea's.

Haha, well I'll definetely stick your book on my shopping list/torrent list.

No pick-up material, in my opinion, is worth the money they charge for it. It's got some really good insights, and some practical advice that any normal, as in even pre-pua guy could use, especially on opening and escalating, which are the real comfort-zone problems for the average dude. But for me, I like the fact he largely skips attraction, on the grounds that worrying what is attractive will essentially fuck you up, thereby diminishing any natural attractiveness you had already.

The thing witch I really like about 60 is that he doesn't like details... He is just talking about principles (like in Musashi's book - The book of five rings - " you should study the principles diligently"), not only that but he is talking about some very natural things... I noticed that being social is just being social... but when you add the "look" in it, then it suddenly becomes animalic and sexual.

Honestly I'm not the usual "sarging" guy... I simply can't and won't go out specifically for "sarging", but I would definetly do it if I get the chance and I'm in the right mood. It's something like synchronizing with the situation you are in... I never like to force things... It's more like playing for me... If I'm at the mall and I catch a girls eyes somehow in the right grounds, then I will most definetly make my entrance because the circumstances are right... But I will never force myself into it...

I like 60's ideas mostly because he's thinking is very similar somehow with Lao Zi's "Art of war"... Never force winning if you don't have the premises... Know your enemy... Put yourself in the most advantageous position and corner the "enemy" in the worst position... The win should always be easy and natural.

I never spend money on this kind of stuff... I already had some ideas about it because I'm a very extrovert guy, and I discovered things that I was already doing (like AMOG-ing) but I didn't knew it in "theory", and this PUA stuff helps me to improve myself.
