Game is game.

Some people ooze face-to-face game, some people have mint text game, and some people rock facebook game. Whatever floats your boat really.

Personally I avoid the facebook game, not because I have anything against it, but because I have a reputation to protect.
I've become increasingly aware that text game, no matter how hated by some people, is vital to aid that escalation between number-close and D2. Girls like to text (the right person anyway).

Fair play to Soul if he managed to go down this route and grab some success from it. Sure, it's not a method for everyone, but he introduced (albeit in a chode-y way), DHV'd, forced responses, escalated and closed. That's game, right?

The only advantage that I see from this form of "none-physical" approach is two things:
1) You may be able to write / text things that you don't yet have the confidence to say to someone's face, so it's like practice, or a warm-up
2) Mystery. All she has to judge you on is your words and maybe some pictures. She doesn't know you. You can be anyone. That kind of mystery can excite the right woman.

Ironically, if you're having to plough out the higher numbers to get a good response, you're not efficient at all - and if you're relying on higher numbers of approaches to get a close, then you should probably look at what you're doing wrong in those approaches.

In all honesty (and in a completely none-arrogently intended way), I've gotten to the point now that when I'm out and about, I can number close most people that I want to. Probably 8 out of 10. 9 when I'm particularly on form.

I reckon that if I wanted to get 10 numbers in real life, I'd have to approach 12-15 girls. I bet to get the same quantity of numbers from facebook you'd have to cold message 100+ girls. To my mind, that's inefficient.

Also, it will take you several hours / days to type all of the things that you could say to someone in a matter of seconds / minutes. Again, inefficient.

Fair play if it's a route you want to take, but in that seven hours a week that you spent tapping on a keyboard you could have gone and found say 14 girls who you KNOW are local (you met them near home), who you KNOW what they look like (they're not walking around with Photoshopped faces) and you KNOW what they're like (because you've met them).

That's the way I'd prefer to be, but each to his own

Undoubtedly. A major plus being that you can effectively "meet" people that would never have gone to the kind of places you go to.

Conversely though, if they don't go to the same places as you, are they the kind of person you want to meet? (for anything other than a ONS I mean)

I've played FB Game. What i've found is if you dont know them and their still talking to you then there is high chance that its on although my game isn't tight all round yet so the most i've got is K-close and LMR! lol gosh i hate LMR!

Probably means the you that comes across over FB / text and the you in reality are a little out of line

Facebook is a good if you are sat at home and if you know what your doing within a very small space of time you can have 20 9's and 10's interested, whilst sat on your arse, watching football. They still have to be gamed in the real world, so if you're using fb as an alternative you're screwed.

As been said each to there own, I much prefer to open sets in a bar far more fun.

fb has its place, but the real game is in the streets and bars and at least you can see the goods on offer.

Just be careful out there in cyberspace lots of monsters. Let me tell you abvout one girl I face booked, I'm not making this up, 150 photo's everyone of them she looked like a supermodel, slim sexy. her emails were educated, I got the impression of confident woman. She had a degree in photography and a design, that should have been my first clue.

Anyway, she wasn't a super model, she was size 14, needed urgent dentist work and so shy could'nt even speak shy was so shy. This would have never happened in a bar.
