I think that the world wont "end" per se, but something HUGE will happen, like earthquakes triggering more tsunamis, things like that...

I've been thinking about this apparently it's ll to do with the pagan religion 11/11/11 is a date to look out for they love the number 11 cos 6 is the sign for the human form and 7 is divine perfection. so 6+7=11 hence that whole thing about japan earthquake 11th of march, trade centres 11th of september, 11th of january haiti earthquake. plus there's a load of stuff bout haarp an earthquake machine invented by tesla. could be a load of old bollox but anyway I'm just gonna keep doing my thing

Geopolitical events of recent years have sparked a wave of cynicism about what's really going on in the world, a whole rash of conspiracy theories all over Youtube and the net that you can't help but bump into. Some of them seem alarmingly plausible, like 9/11 dare I say it, although I'm not quite ready for the aliens in suits theories just yet. I've got to the point where I'm so cynical I barely watch the news or read a paper anymore. It's like the current middle east de-stabalising as Reflex says, and now Libya, I mean it's all strings pulled behind the scenes for geopolitical advantage. Do I think the shit is going to hit the fan in 2012? I hope not. I don't like that Obama is in power in the States, he's entirely too smooth. I've heard all kinds of stuff, from the solar system moving through a strange belt in space, to solar flares, to the dollar collapsing. Who knows, greatest probability is it's just another Millennium Bug fiasco.

I personally think that 9/11 was a set up, by the US government. I watched Zeitgeist, and this HUGELY swayed my opinion of it.

I think the middle east unrest is just getting insane. The powers at be seem to enjoy airstrikes...

Here's a fun fact many people don't know. When the Americans were sending airstrikes to libya in the 80s (I think its the 80s), one of the airstrikes KILLED Gadaffi's adopted 18 month old baby. No wonder he wants revenge. Its all propaganda at the moment though.

I have also read about the solar system alignment and all that stuff.. I don't think the year 2012 is in any way significant (I agree phil, maybe the guy who made the calander died!!), but I do think shit seems to be kicking off, alot more often, in recent times.
