Yes but that isnt the issue, the issue is what may kill us is the aggressive domination of countries trying to hog these resources. -- Ie US war on the middle east etc

I also think that if a limitless supply of energy was discovered the world economy would fall on its ass -- Countries Like Saudi, kuwait etc would be reduced back into prehistoric caveman societies without a revenue from oil.

I think for the big players to an extent it is in their interests to keep everyone dependant on oil and to control it where possible --Oil currently equals power. -- even if they have discovered Fussion, or Hydrogen fuels etc
