Started it yesterday hungover. Who uses it on here? Any 'tactics' as in effective ways of using it? I dont want to be the numpty who realises he's been doing it all wrong after six months.

So far I have 5 decent pictures but going to get some new ones up as all my Facebook ones are me drunk. And a short tag line about lying met. Cliché I know. Then I pretty much 'like' every girls photo unless I notice them being fat or ugly. Figuring I can sift through the fuglies that match up with me. If they're really hot, I have a little look stalk haha

I've been using it for a while. For the first month there were no pictures then when I upgraded the app they all appeared. It showed a match with a woman I hadn't even been shown before. She was decent looking so I messaged her but she's never responded.

There's a lot of beautiful women's pictures on it. When I was flicking through them sometimes I was starting to get a semi in my pants. It was starting to feel like porn viewing and I got no more matches despite 'liking' about 100 women.

My pictures aren't great. They were professionally taken in a studio so there's none of me having fun or with other people. I was starting to think too much about my appearance and whether I like it or not. I know that's not healthy for me so I uninstalled the app yesterday.

I don't use it, but girl i know has about 9 guys messaging her just now, typical inflated male-female ratio. Looks pretty much like folk just use it to try and get a ride.

Numbers game. Just absent mindedly keep swiping right while watching tv. Works well for me. Pretty standard pics. No tag line. Nothing fancy.

Yeah I've set up a few dates already after two days. I also got a match who started a conversation with "5th Ave", a club I frequent. Turns out I'd got her friend's number ages ago and for some reason or another it never worked out as she lived far away. But yeah they weren't impressed by me being on Tinder hahahaha which is funny as SHE was on it too. Sloots.

Really liking it though! I used to be quite forward/cocky/fast on the close over online game. Maybe I was meeting the wrong women but now I play it really really lame, gay, chodey, nice and it seems to be working well. Like super-chode, acting like I have no idea how to really go about starting a conversation or asking them to meet up, making awful jokes because I don't quite know what to say. Just a phase probably and trying out a new way of doing it.

Set your radius for 1 mile, go through all of them then set it to 2 miles etc etc. This way you get all the girls close to you first rather than spending hours or days sifting through girls from too far away.

I just use "Hey hows it going?" maybe with their name. Is there a better way or whatever? I generally have casual conversation then say "Have you met anyone off this before/do you meet people off this?" followed by "I haven't, you seem pretty cool, want to" or something to that effect.

I have two dates set up, a possible third (they live far away), and a few conversations that are leading to it. Not bad for two days of using it. Does anyone use really 'direct' or forward ways, or particular style?

Edit: I also chat to nearly any match, even if they're not hot, and possibly see if I can set up a date just so when hotter girls come along so I would have figured out any Tinder faux pas' and got a feel for how to use it. The whole scarcity vs abundance shit innit.

I experimented with direct. After a few messages back & forth I'd say..

"so do you want to have sex with me?"

Then straight away..

"Whoops! Damn predictive text :P"

It almost always got a good reply where they see the funny side & start chatting.

I started with only the below average & average girls, the first one was chubby but I talked her into sending me snapchats of her tits. Another one said she was only out of a relationship & was definitely up for a bit of fun.

Then I thought fuck it I'll try it on hot girls too, the hottest one was a really stunning blonde. She instigated the snapchatting! ive been using tinder for a couple of months and met up with several girls, Even getting laid by 1.

My main impression is that alot people who use this app are only doing so as a self-confidence thing, i know alot of people who use it just for the match, then dont game the girl, so presumable, this will be the same for girls. this may result in getting ignored when you do message them, so dont let that dishearten you.

That being said ive had one and ive got friends who have gone for drinks, then smashed several.

From my experience, the bog stand 'Hey You look nice/ How are you' messages get less replies, and less interestring replies when you do get them (Imagine how many standard, pesty open with things like that).

The one girl i slept with i opened the conversation like this. 'we matched! this means, in theory, you'd sleep with me? correct?' i almost tell the girl that she wants to sleep with me, and this has opened up many conversations, but ive had mixed reactions from this too i.e 'get a grip' and other comments as such from indenial people. they swiped yes? they would fuck given the right sitution.

but me sleeping with this girl goes to show, being direct on tinder does work, but, as always, every person differs.

In general i get most conversations from personalising my openers, for example, i saw a girl with a picture from a place i recognisedfrom my travels in asia and so i opened with 'How good is tubing in laos, i was there last year, shame i didnt get to see you there though, where else did you travel?' we went on a date, we pulled and im meeting her again next week.

I re-installed it yesterday. It picked up that one of the girls was a friend of a girl I have as a friend on facebook. I don't know if that would have made any difference one way or the other, I doubt it. She was really cute though. But I fucked up and swiped left instead of right, so there's no chance now!

No need to worry, theres plenty more on there, i swipe yes on most women, maximize my options, plus, i cant really be that arsed trawling through their profiles, and ive matched with over 200 women. Some may not look too womanly though
