Maybe I should move into London, I wouldn't need to change job as I work in Weybridge...

OK well I didn't read the replies, but I imagine they're all telling you to learn PUA and sleep with a billion women.

Here's the thing. You haven't had a long relationship because there's obviously something about you that women don't like, and it's not your ability to 'pick them up'. Do some soul-searching, find out what it is you don't like about yourself and what women don't like, and change it. It's really that simple.

In terms of meeting women, just go out with your friends and talk to them (the women). Don't read any silly material or learn any lines, just be yourself and you will be fine.

I'm no self help guru or master PUA, but I know how to be normal, how to be happy and slept with a reasonable number of women so aren't totally clueless. Come out with me and my mates for a night out if you're ever in Manchester and I bet I can put you on the right path. And I won't charge you $999999.

I agree with most of the advice here, I'm needing to change my life overall as well, my biggest problem is motivation, can't seem to maintain it. To offer a very different suggestion I would recommend looking at couchsurfing.com, for a few reasons which I'll explain.

1) It's a nice community, they have regular meet-ups and you can find potential houseshare's, parties ect with local people who are specifically interested in meeting and talking to new social people regularly.

2) By hosting people in your house, you will have plenty of chances to practise meeting new people, promoting and working on your socialskills and showing that you are a fun person.

3) It's good for building your confidence, as the people staying will automatically be warm to you, you have nothing to lose as you may never see them again and they love being taken out and shown things in the local area ect.

4) You'll make contacts from around the world and learn about different cultures people ect, making you a more interesting person as a result.

I wouldn't say this is the best way of becoming a great PUA, but if you want to make your life more exciting, gain confidence around new people and be more social, it's a great way to meet like minded people and kick start the process.

p.s I have no affiliation with couchsurfing what so ever, just offering an alternative suggestion

Thanks for the offer mad_fer_it I'll probably stick to the southeast for the moment to see if I can build up my game. I've read some of your posts and I like your vibe.

I've had plenty of good nights out in the past (not so many since turning 30 and everyone getting married!). I probably find it hard to relate and open up to people in general.

I've had mates in the past who have said "you're a good looking guy I don't understand why you're single". It would be nice if I had some honest opinions from you guys when we meet where I'm going wrong even if you think it will piss me off.
