This is very embarrassing: I am overwhelmed by all the response, but once again my flight failed (from Alicante) and the one I was bumped to was delayed. My ideas are a big part of me at the moment (being cut off from all my close family), so when I promote them I am promoting myself to a large degree. Religion: Though I am an atheist evangelist, I have much time for religious people, for I believe they have got a lot of things right (if you ignore their theology). Even the Muslims have several things going for them. The community support and selfless acts set a very good example, if they are not only done for show. So I actually believe that you can subscribe to a church without being very hypocritical at all. Not much worse than the average atheist, I would say.

Mr Jaz: Yes, you have got it: women exploit men through excessive sexual display, if we allow them to get away with it. We still have pretty robust rules about public decency (though I must admit that naked breasts down the streets of Toronto is something of a set-back) but the Internet allows men to consume an incredibly public display (broadcast worldwide, night and day) in PRIVATE. You suggest we should have the self-control to ignore it, but that would go against the fundamental nature of man. We’ve NEVER been able to control ourselves in private. Be honest: if a naked young lady slipped into bed with you after midnight, and started TO fondle your organ, would you seriously have the will to resist? Throw her out of bed into the cold bedroom? How could you be so cruel. We simply need to recognise internet porn for what it is -- utterly outrageous public behaviour -- and subject it to the normal rules of public decency. If ladies are not allowed to behave in this manner outside your neighbourhood primary school gates, then it’s far more important that they should not be permitted to do it for all the world to see.

Fear of Women: yes, I am utterly terrified of women, and so should you be. One look in the eye and your mind stops working. And just look what they have achieved over the last 100 years of group effort. Feminism is the only 20th century revolution that has succeeded -- beyond their wildest dreams. Here in the UK we have women-only lists for parliament, women’s quotas for boardrooms -- and preference for women for all the top jobs advertised in the Economist goes without saying. Scholarships, special colleges (there’s even one just for lesbians in California, along with a lesbian-only fire brigade), and programmes of all colours abound ... just as long as it displaces men. Our Church of England here in the UK has a special society (WATCH) to get rid of straight men from the church -- despite the appalling record of homosexual abuse by the Roman Catholic clergy (over 80% is homosexual, according to one of their reports).

In short, we have allowed women (or men acting on their behalf), and women’s thought, to take over the Western world. I think it is a crying shame. I’d be interested to hear about the problems you mention that you’ve been experiencing with the opposite sex (allegedly because they are not liberated enough, you say!), but I do not understand where you want to discuss this with me. Could you advise me what to do?

Mr. Hustler: How can you claim I am disdainful of women, especially my ex-wife? I believe it is only I who am taking them seriously, respecting them fully, and truly having their best interests at heart. On my t-shirt it says: “Only when men fight to control women do we show them true respect”, and I believe in this from the bottom of my heart. It’s the only honest way of stating just how powerful you think they are, and that it will take all men’s efforts from all over the world, to bring them back under some semblance of control. This the only way to show them true, un-compromised love and respect.

Who’s Exploiting Who?: Do you seriously think that a prostitute or a porn star doesn’t realise she is taking advantage of weak men? Do you think they are naiive? The few I’ve met are very insightful and not at all resentful. In fact I’ve often enjoyed their company -- last week in Madrid three offered themselves to me together, and then continued to entertain me delightfully after I refused. I have, in fact, only indulged myself (or them?) on one occasion, for I was often very close to home.

Bitterness over Divorce: I understand that this happens to many men -- we have, after all, arranged for the wife to be in control -- but it is not so in my case. I am trying to persuade my wife to have me back (I feel I may just about be strong enough, this time), and I fully acknowledge that it was all my own fault: I was such a wimp it became impossible for her to respect me.

The Benefits of Joining the Crusade for Men: I cannot tell you how much fun I am having, as I seek to challenge every girl I meet. My t-shirt even worked in Spain, with ladies who spoke little english. Somehow they got the message anyway, and strode up to me eyes burning to engage in combat. What a delight! Even in a hotel corridor one group had a go at me ... smiles all over their faces.

Mr. Nova: I have to confess I have not one single true believer, you are right, but things are starting to change. Five men are now committed to wearing my t-shirt (including a leading professor of psychology in Denmark), and possible a lady lesbian, as mentioned above. In addition there is a small group of people in Singapore discussing (and some agreeing with) my ideas. Several leading academics around the world have also given support. And then there are all the many people I meet on my travels, who, after listening to me and discussing, sincerely wish me good luck in my quest. In other words, I am not about to give up hope yet!

Enjoying Sexual Encounters: you get me quite wrong: I enjoy each encounter with women immensely, I just ensure at the same time that I don’t get so mesmerised that I forget what I am supposed to be doing. I have often before been so distracted that I have left things behind, forgotten an appointment, missed a train ... the list goes on and on.

Restricting Female Display: Your mind is so tied up in a knot of female logic (see my website) that you cannot think clearly about controlling women at all. Of course you think criminal women should be apprehended, don’t you?; of course you think lady teachers who approach students sexually should be stopped; and of course you think kindergarten minders should not take their clothes off in class. So it is NOT a question of control per se ... it is merely a question of when to take action. I suggest that most parents want to stop their lesbian friends coming on to the female children. Girls masturbating in public when they see you, however much of a compliment, is not generally to be approved of.

See what I mean? Women have got to be stopped somewhere; it is just a question of where you draw the line. I think it should be drawn at internet porn. You quote Cyndi Lauper saying, “Girls just wanna have fun”, but I fear it is not entirely true. They are prepared to destroy the planet, if men don’t reign them in. We have to live life together -- for apart, man or woman, we are hopeless.

Mr. Limit: I think you are fooling yourself in implying that porn is as much a female as a male thing. Women are interested in the bulge in your wallet, not the one in your pants. The only mainline erotic magazine for women, ‘Playgirl’, closed down two weeks before I tried to contact them, last year! Women can go without sex for months on end, as I am sure you must know, and visual stimulation is totally irrelevant. Of course, if they have made up their mind to go ahead for other reasons (money, status, power, fun), then they will sleep with just about anything on earth -- including other women. But that has got nothing whatsoever to do with pornography -- absolutely nothing at all.

Controlling Others: We know far better how others should behave, than how to behave ourselves. A little bit of power goes to anyone’s head, sooner or later. We all have the makings of Chairman Mao within us -- ever ready to leap out, if we don’t have friends and neighbours making sure we stay on the straight and narrow. So self-control is a bit of an illusion, in that it can so quickly fly out the window when we get excited. This is why controlling others is such an important duty: our friends rely on us to keep them in check. A man in particular must constantly be on the alert, so that he is ready to interfere when necessary. Please see my draft explanation of this, if you are interested:

Respect: I absolutely agree in the paramount importance of respect, but I also absolutely insist that there has to be an element of fear involved -- otherwise the respect is not sincere. If you do not honestly fear the ending of the relationship, then you do not truly value it, or the other person involved. Men threaten to destroy a relationship using violence; women threaten to destroy it by withdrawing. A headache at first, then crossed legs, a refusal to join in family activities, a reluctance to say ‘sorry’ ... but, if not countered aggressively, sooner or later it will end in divorce. That is why divorce mushrooms in all Westernised (feminised) countries -- we have handed over all the power to women. When men have power they do not divorce -- they know how important the mother is to their children. They misbehave in other ways, of course (second wives, mistresses) but they don’t divorce. Accordingly, if the divorce rate rises above 3%, it means that women in that society have been given too much power.

Cave Men: as I say above, we are going to have to go much further back than cave men times, if we want to sort out the balance between the sexes properly. If I have anything to do with it, 2010 will herald the Great Leap Backwards! Don’t be pessimistic: we should be able to rid ourselves of TV and the Internet with relative ease. We can keep them just for emergencies.

Telling Women What to Do: You may not feel like telling them right now, as a man, but it is certainly your responsibility to do so, and it is the energy, motivation and courage to do it that I am trying to re-instil into modern man. When young girls swear on the bus, for example, they are crying out to be controlled -- that is the reason they are doing it in the first place, to gain your attention! If you betray them (as an adult) by avoiding confrontation, you fail to discipline them, and they are at a loss as to what to do next. The only honest answer is to misbehave more and more, until somebody else is forced to interfere. This is why it is so important to nip things in the bud, if you want a little peace and quiet in your life ... or, more importantly, if you want a little peace and quiet in the girls’ lives.

Sexist Balance of Power: I am a little dismayed that, after you work out that the policies you recommend hand over all power to women, you then ask what’s the problem? Do you not value yourself? Do you believe you have nothing to contribute to the world? You are saying it’s fine for men to have no power, but this means your voice will never be heard. When women have all the power, the male voice is silenced. Surely you have more pride than to wish yourself into oblivion?

Internet Porn: I know that a lot of the porn on the net is free ... but even in this situation I would urge you to think about it one more time. If a man is handing over his masculinity, isn’t that quite a high price to pay? He is also investing his precious time in the masturbatory enterprise ... do you think it is a wise and fruitful investment? I think he is paying hand over fist (please excuse the term) each time. Entertainment is all very well in its place, but indulge in it excessively, and you will be reluctant to return to reality -- let alone take up your responsibilities again.

Gay Porn: please excuse me, but this is rather a fringe activity, so I don’t want to address it at this time. The effect on the family really worries me -- especially now same-sex marriages are becoming all the rage. I see these trends as the simultaneous denial and destruction of fatherhood -- but I will address the subject at another time.
