Completely, not saying it's a good first thought and I've been proven wrong many a time.
Being skinny myself and having considered attempting to bulk up to make myself perceived as more attractive I see that others must have been in my situation and got into a mindset that becoming bigger will help with attraction and get into a "if only I was bigger" circular mindset when they find it's not working. Kinda like the male equivalent of anorexia. Whether or not this is true I don't know. Also I guess it probably helps my own state when competing with others that are stacked.

As I was walking thru Sheffield the other day there were these two girls walking along in front of me. They were talking about this guy standing outside a store who was musclebound. They were going on about how beautiful, gorgeous and sexy he was, but these two chicks were probably only about a 4 or 5 /10 themselves and looked extremely chavy.

Just happened to be in sheff that day. I live near wakefield in a smallish village, and the supermarket was in wakey so no need to be concerned

edit: forgot to say, I deleted my fb profile last year. Was spending too much time on it, as well as my LTR break-up which really knocked my confidence for six, just decided it was easier to delete it.
I think my profile is still in the databse and can be activated again. Not sure if I want to go back on fb tho....
