The very word 'dominance' comes from 'to dominate', which is to overpower another. However, I largely feel we are probably arguing semantics here, so I'll leave it. ^_^

Granted, but in terms of contributions and ranking I see a couple of individuals in the top 10 who possess the requisite qualities to call themselves the FORUM leader

Alpha is a real phenomina, when you make eyecontact with a girl she is hoping to see strength qualities and entitlement. She is hoping to see a selector and be selected by him. You ever get proximity, make eyecontact and decide 'she's not my type' and not do the approach? The girl then looks sad and leaves becaus her attempt to be selected failed and she feels like a beta female.

Leaders are dominant, they make decisions, but they persuade and motivate. They project glimmers of hope and tribal bonding even when being aggressive. At the end of the day humans are a tribal species, just look at football if youre not sure you agree. Leaders are mentally strong, they do not mope around and cry and complain. They solve and develop, strategise, share and carry others. They defend their tribe from other tribes and motivate its members to ensure mutual survival. Other males fight them for 'Top Dog' role constantly and all the alpha females want them. Doesnt matter what they look like..

Not being funny but Hitler doesn't strike me as an alpha male, he strikes me as a pugnacious, insecure, manipulative little shit. These traits have driven many a politician to seek and attain power, but it doesn't make them alpha as I understand it. Gordon Brown for example, was a leader, but still a bumbling nerd.

Like it or not tribal leader. Do you feel sick when you see a swastika? I do, social conditioning from childhood, Nazis = Pure Evil, Swastika = Our Enemy. Whenever I meet a German male I think 'could I take him in hand to hand combat?' I actually do.

With respect Max, so what? Doesn't mean he has characteristics worth modelling. Nothing remotely alpha about the guy, his every mannerism speaks of a cloyingly aggressive jumpy little nut job...the complete opposite of alpha or the tribal leader as inferred in pickup. I'm not talking about the negative Meme that he represents that we all know and understand, I'm just saying look past all that to the guy himself, there is something so desperately needy and agitated about him. The tribal leader concept requires a little selective awareness to pick out the beneficial, not blanket literal adherence to all cases.
