ok right thought i might post my first thread.

sometimes if a girl is looking at me (at the mall or supermarket or something), i kinda unintentionally and indiscretely look
/stare back, and the usual facial expression i hav on is "in thought" or kinda concerned (narrowing of eyes, eye brows tightening up, a bit Zoolander Blue Steel). i do this as I am processing whether she is checking me out or I had toothepaste all over my face or something. Then I either work out she was checking me out or I snap out of the trance, either way she looks somewhere else and I am left feeling unsure if whether she jus shyed away or just unnerved by my dodgey expression. I jus walk on in either case as the moment has gone, but I always turn back and they are usually looking/ checking.They look away. then I keep walkin, hmm I never know how come across, but I know the moment has gone and it would be ultra weird to approach.

Guess I jus need to stop trancin out like that; smile and say "hi" instead putting on the expression of a constipated poker player. sigh* wasted opportunities. I am not like that when I am conciously sargin, I usually approach straight away.

Point of the article is .. . do these fruitless exchanges in glances happenin to u guys or am I the only person who let's them slip away?

They happen to me pretty much everyday, Iv never really known what to do in those situations

I usualy just give them a smile (sometimes I get one back, sometimes not) or occasionaly I will say Hi, but it never leads to a conversation. Which sucks

If you're out and about during the day, and you see a girl who you think is hot, just approach her, even if she hasn't given you eye contact. If she is giving you EC, it just gives you a little bit more of an incentive to approach - bonus. Just think to yourself "What's the worst that can happen?" tell her that you think she's cute and ask for her number.

Regardless of how the approach/interaction goes, she should be flattered that she's been approached by a guy who isn't under the influence of alcohol, and you should feel good about yourself for doing something that the vast majority of guys never have the cojones to do.

I totally agree with cannon show here. Actively looking for eye contact will get your nowhere fast. As the male it is your duty to make the move and your intentions known to the girl, not the other way round. If you like the look of her, go up and start an interaction... or else wait until the lucky day when an ok looking girl decides to throw themselves at you.

If a girl's looking at you it's on. Just go up and say "do I have something on my face? People have been looking at me all day" with a smile on your face, she'll understand that you're not 100% serious and it's a way to start convo, plus it has added preselection.

Unless you're in my friends situation: walked round Manchester most of the day with a LOT of girls checking him out. Decided that he must had some godly aura of sexiness and decided to start opening girls. Did a daygame sat, went well, and ended up getting her number for her to point out afterwards that he had chocolate sauce down his face. Win.

some girls still have the thought in their heads that its the male that should approach them, and rightly so, so whenever i have been given eye contacti find its best to give her a hollywood type smile and if shes still looking you have to make a move, i would never walk away after a girl is smiling whilst looking at me or looking as if shes just staring, once she checks you out you have to think that shes then given you the access to make a move on her, since finding the pick up lifestyle i have learnt to grow a pair and approach at all costs as thats what sets us apart from the average chodes
