At this point I've barely glanced at the two attractive targets.
They are delighted to give opinions and start to do so although one of them, as planned, asked "well what guy is it?"

Step 3: I call over to my friend and invite him to the table. At this point I sit down next to the attractive girls whilst my friend sits opposite me. He engages in conversation with one of the lesser-targets whilst the blonde I'm sitting beside opens up to me with some general chit-chat.

This is where I think an opener is needed, sure you could go over and simply approach the girl you're attracted to, and if you can do that without hesitation or needing any sort of line then that's great and right now, I envy that skill, but I'll go back to my previous point of having a few openers ready in your head is fine, nothing wrong with it if its all you have to go on. Hey, it's better than going in and being a fumbling fuck tripping over your own tongue.

did you honestly fuck either of these girls? or at least are you going on a date with them.

No, you didnt coz you would have incorporated it into your story.

having a general chit chat with some hot girl is my every day normal life. thats just what normal people do... Talk to people

you shouldnt be making posts about how awesome talking to a girl was. Set your standards higher...

and dont take this the wrong way, but take some advice from someone who would without doubt easily steal a girl from every PUA guru u know.

Let me say however i have used random non sensical nonsense to open up groups with lads... because lads will drag girls away if they think you are a threat. So ye, in that situation the line was ok.

but when speaking to a girl. u need to make pretty clear your intentions verbally or non verbally

Nope, but I got the girls number in the end, didn't follow it up cause honestly I thought she was attractive but I didn't want to chase it, my friend whom I introduced kissed the one he got talking to. Hey, it was better than not approaching.
The guy's just asking for some openers and I'm giving, although somewhat limited, what he asked for, no need to be aggressive or anything man, it's in the "beginners pickup" section right? We can't all be so alpha, although I'm glad that you have that confidence, it's a great thing to have.

maybe openers are a good way to get shy guys used to talking to girls, but every time he asks for one, ill tell him they are dumb, as i will with everyone. coz inevitably, once he realises that the lines are not what makes the girl talk to you... he will go

To give you an idea. I sell advertising. Most of our sales reps spend about 8-15 mins with a sales pitch about the product. and don't mention its an advertising call for about 4 mins.

I probably mention its advertising within about 20 seconds. sales pitch inc close is usually about 4-5 mins

that means my call rate is about 3 times anyone else....

i also sell about 4-5 times anyone else (with the exception of 2 whom i double, and our manager who is usually on parr)

the reason?? well i get rid of the shit early on. and people appreciate not being dicked about with a wave of bullshit.

i also sell more... ALOT MORE.

ur opener will start convos, and will probly work. maybe even as well as mine. but mine will get more fuck offs & more pussy

Jesus, Didn't expect such a heated debate! Haha! Cheers for all your openers, suggestions and guidance. Its all appreciated. I understand what Phil is saying about being direct because it dose save time and cut the bullshit.

But at the moment I just need to get used to my conversation flow with random fittys so i can work my way into gettin some kind of close. (weather it be a phone number, kiss or getting her to suck my dick down a side ally wile i shout ''Don't the trees look lovely magret!?!'' At least that way she won't try get in touch or expect like a meal or shit.)

But seriously, cheers people. The main problem with direct openers is that I'm from a pretty small town in north wales, were if i just start hitting on every1 left right and center people will be like WFT? And most people know me. This dose work to my advantage also as I'm quite popular and well known where I'm from and e.g last weekend I had i girl just txt me asking to meet up with me. So i had a drink with my m8s and went to meet her after. Her and her mate

long story short i got her mates number to ha. And for the past 4 weekends I've got a number every weekend. Was gonna ask what you think about the Facebook close but I will start a new topic for that.

The main problem for me is the whole not looking like a pervy, weird, every other guy thong. Because I'm not. Well some say I'm weird but in a good way so I will just roll with that. And as for my style... I dunno I kinda do have my own thing. As a said most people know me from round were i live and even other towns n shit. I'd best describe myself as a tit. Oh yeah I probably could of number closed a Stripper on Sat. This is'nt the kind of 'OMG she danced with me for money, Shes in love with me' bullshit. This is the didn't pay a single penny, stayed with me for 25 mins after telling her to go away several times (a couple of cheeky negs) and her eventually telling me I was the most interesting person she'd met. I did the box, or cube on her. Was dynamite. And my mates were asking me to teach them how I just had her there. Was a pretty sweet moment.
