Totally agreed. Personal growth is definately one of the routes to happiness. I look at pickup (or call it what the fuck you want) as only one aspect of my life's journey. Taking a hollistic approach to self improvement is brilliant.

Be healthy in body and spirit, live to your own values, have positive standards (be authentic), help and give to others. Having a hot girlfriend is not the route to happiness, leading a successful life is (your version of successful). Constantly work towards having a successful life. But, don't let this stop you, going out and sarging. The more you go out, the better with girls you will get. The more you work at any life skill (one that leads you towards a successful authentic life), the better at life you will be.

Bad news, there is no magic pill. You need to work at stuff. And as for openers....you can use anything...for example "i've got a pretty penis"
