so as long as you have respect and value for yourself, you will know what to do

maybe she is just chatting to them like normal people do, and its in your head and your own insecurity thinking she is trying to make you jeleous.

STFU, it's all in your head. You're creating that false situation, not her. You can't read her mind, so stop trying. You're thinking too much, reading way too much, and letting your fears run wild; no girl does that shit to a guy she doesn't even know. Hell, girls only do that when they're in a relationship and they want to get their guy back or more interested, and even still it's far far less often than the media would make you believe.

You're fucking shit up beforehand by not keeping her interest, and then instead of repairing things and going after her you're ignoring her and essentially killing everything. You're shooting yourself in the foot, both strategically (by not getting her) and mentally (you're creating backasswards concepts in your brain that's going to seriously fuck your head up, and screw yourself). I feel I should clarify—I had known the girl as an acquaintance for a while, and there was always chemistry, but nothing had happened up to that point. Yes, her attempting to make me jealous might have been in my head that night. But I have definitely had it happen with girls on other nights- now I think about it, always girls who I'd known them for some time, but who I was not yet in a relationship with. And I agree with what people have said: I haven't had this situation happen with girls I've just met.

From reading the replies (esp. Joker), I get the feeling that the best course of action is to just go "fuck her", and go off and chat to some other girls. Not from a weak stance—where I'm not getting engaged in the new conversations, and consistently looking over my shoulder to gauge her reaction—but change my inner frame to genuinely forget about her for half an hour or so and have some fun.

if you're dating: the best thing to do is not care. if shes taking the piss and being overly flirtatious.. well then i think its pretty obvious what to do.

if you're interested in her, i'd personally find that kind of behaviour slightly unattractive. it doesn't work against me, it works against her.

just re read this thread. its stupid, if a girl likes you, she isnt goin off talkin to other lads to make you jealous. unless she is a child, or has some weird issues.

either way, if your doin ur magic, then she goes off to speak to some guy, ur probably not doin it right.
