i think its hard to pass the idea that people do stuff with you in mind.

if someone is doing somethin, its usually for their own gain & not in spite of you. either way it doesnt matter. just assume that its not about you & then go back to doin whatever you wer doin.

It's not like they do it specifcally to make 'you' jealous. It's not like anyone is suggesting chicks do this shit conciously. What's going on is subconcious and all to do with what happens when genetic hardwiring clashes with modern social 'rules of engagement'.

This sort of behaviour is part of EVERY woman's hardwiring. Back in the day, it'd be in any cavewoman's interests to string along an array of cavemen other than her 'first choice' alpha mate (or prospective mate), because in the (highly likely) event that he was killed out hunting or in the (also highly likely) event that one of the betas of the tribe eventually challenged him and bashed his brains in with a rock...she'd still have a shot at getting her womb packed with jizz by one of the other caveman that she'd been smart enough to tap up and string along in case of a rainy day...

Point is that today, slinging her over your shoulder and carrying her back to the cab/cave (as Phil suggests) isn't always an option (esp if she's not your gf/fb or anything else yet). Ignoring her behaviour suggests that you either lack the social awarness to process what's going on, or you lack the confidence and assertivness to do something about it. Niether is ideal.

Call it a 'tactic' and or call it retarded all you like. Couldn't give a fuck. What I'm suggested will work to get her focus back on you (if that is what you desire), and you could find the group you engage presents you with a better option anyway. So either way it's the smart assertive thing to do, and beats ignoring it or kicking off with the other fella hands down. Trust me i've road tested all three options enough times to know.
