Went out last night, met up with GoodRebel and Josh20 off here for a pint. Had a chat and we all got on
All great guys to meet up with off the forum. GR had to go off to a party and me and Josh met XFChris soon after. The pre drinks were great and always a great way to get to know someone before going to speak to girls and creating a good vibe.

my first approach went really well and overall we were approach stunners all night out of coincidence. The conversation went well but I fucked up on moving, escalating etc myyy bad. Supposed to turn the girl around so shes facing away from her friend.

me and josh chilled some more whilst waiting for Chris and spoke to this girl giving me the eye, turns out she knew me from Uni and I know her, I was like 'weve met? A few times? Huh? Oh hi yeah' on reflection she probably thought it was an act but we moved on.

hen someone spilled a drink, through being a dick, on josh so I got lairy, you cant have a night out without me being lairy haha.

anyway after this we basically went around taking it turns to do the approach. We were all still 'getting back into it' or their first night for josh. I didnt work on my sticking point.

First and foremost its all about having fun with who you're with so you cant focus on pua too much.

OH hahhaha I met this girl and she was like 'were you out the other week with a guy called Alex?'

'No I dont even know an alex, wait you mean Jaz?'
'Yeah I think so!'
'Yeah hes sick, funniest guy blah blah blah'
Then I realise its the one butt-fingered in the club hahhahahahahahah

apparently Jaz works for MTV too haha

Went out last night and met up with Dice, Josh20, Wes and Jaz and we all had a great little pre drink in a quite pub which ended up in a bit of drunken pointless banter.

I swear Jaz was bone-sober when we left and by the end of it I couldnt tell if he was being really weird or simply plastered. Dice is still on the wagon along with Wes. I was about 5 cans ahead of everybody before I got there.

Luckily I wasn't too drunk for the entire night. Anyway Wes fucked off home, great to see the funny fella and we piled on into The Mint Lounge. Got speaking to some girls as we got in and pretty much got into this weird self-amusement mindset.

It wasn't to do with pua or anything I was just having fun improv'ing the funniest, most random shit to say to girls. Then a weird wing-thing started with me and Jaz which was like we'd speak to two sets but not be interested in any of the girls. Dice went home after a while because he weren't not having no fun whilst being sober and we lost Josh20 somehow.

I got speaking to these two girls in the toilets for ages and then Jaz ended up winging me, the girl I was speaking to was mega-fat but fun enough to chat to whilst drunk messing around.

I got into a conversation with a married woman who was trying to give me tips on dating because she didn't see I was simply saying stuff to see how long it'd take her to go away. She was like "Im married btw" so I thought to myself "Well I wonder what I have to say to get rid of her" but she got so condescending that at one point I had it to her, she still didn't get it. . .

On to Blackdog ballroom and whatever me and Jaz were doing went even more random. Speaking to two girls in the VIP section and I tell this hil-ar-ious joke which the girl didn't like so Im mid-blown out (with Jaz going "Oh well done Barney, arent you shit") when she tells it to her friend WHO LOOVES the joke so much, my target goes "Oh wait umm no ohh yeah I get it hahah thats so funny" and we continue. Two minutes later Jaz goes "Lets ditch them". Fucking nob haha.

And ladies, heres the best approach I've ever seen (but not the best part of the night, that's a gooolden moment) I told Jaz to go up to two model - didn't have my glasses on - looking 6ft tall girls and arms out and go "LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

It fucking worked, or at least for a few minutes anyway! I was shout-laughing, I turned away and there's this guy by himself on a table READING THE FUCKING MENU hahahah its 4:30am and some guy is reading a menu, I think I was crying, even the female bouncer near us was laughing at the spectacle.

I couldn't find Jaz and went home. Missed out a lot of approaches to write about but the general vibe is there. I can approach pretty easily right now, it helps to have people push me but I can do it quite well, not just approaching and unable to carry it on (or, sporadically at best).

My area to work on is simple; escalating, isolating, moving, also not being as 'direct'/chatting up and more normal banter conversation as thats always been my best work. And go out as much as possible with as many guys off this forum.

Also walking home to the train station and who do I see Jynxy, straight up I find out he's scared of some guy threatening to rob him who looked about 15 hahaha and he was waiting by this guy and girl, so he could wait for steal her off, and telling me he's the greatest PUA in Manchester.

Your aim is to try to make your profile good enough for girls to message you. I rarely sent messages out, though admittedly about a year ago, before I got into any pu stuff, I do remember sitting on the computer for 4 hours solid copy and pasting the shittiest messages to every girl I deemed worthy, purely based on looks haha.

But yeah, work on the profile. If your using PoF then come up with a good fun/catchy headline and when writing the profile, do it to entertain yourself, not the girl.

I guess it'd do no harm in sending a couple of messages out, just not all the time.
Dale posted a good message that you can easily personalize for yourself, likes dislikes ect..

Cheers namesake, yeah my first profile was similar to Jaz's as I found his so funny I thought it'd be fun to experiment with. I think your photo has to be really good too but i always look like a tit in my ones.

My profile picture now is me with two hot girls but the reason I put it was because its the only picture I have where I'm not drunk in a club or pulling a stupid face.

I'm not sure with the profile photo. Normally your told to have photos on there that show your sociable, having fun ect.. but honestly I have hardly none of those and I look like a tit in a few of mine. 1 photo of me in the Med sea, 1 with a Spanish waiter that was fucking awesome and another of me on a massive yacht my friend owns (display picture).

Yet, I get messages all the time. So, for me it's the profile text is more important. I get more messages relating to my profile text than my photo's.

Last night I couldn't sleep so i did what anyone would do, I stayed up all night listening to Britney Spears, masturbating to GirlsDoPorn.com and finishing a proposal. 9am hit and I had University at 10am when I found out the lovely surprise of my shower not working, I opted to get drunk instead.

Breakfast: Archers and Lemonade Can (On offer)

Stroll into lesson smeared with smug that I have done my proposal that everyone has been worried about.

"Hey Barney, you ready for the presentation?". Oh fuck. No one mentioned that.

Ensue an improvised presentation on the spot, she asks no questions about it at the , everybody else's she had many to say, I will take this as a good thing. After the lesson i'm getting drunk in the SU bar, exhausted and unable to even maintain a normal conversation. So I decide to go for a walk for no apparent reason from the group. After walking a small circle with a radius no more than 14ft I see some girl I know and say "Hi" as I venture into the library to find a place to sleep before the next lesson. For some reason I decide to go up to this girls table, I've never found her attractive or even spoken to her, "Mind if I pass out on your table, I haven't slept and I might be drunk".

"Sure"

I throw myself down and crash my head onto the table , looking at her sideways I realise she's actually quite cute, I never thought that before, at all. Then I remember some old Facebook book status with photos of how she's been losing loads of weight. I'd been chatting with her, pretty casual but it was fun, I was too exhausted to be actively chatting her up or doing anything. I was literally chatting shit without realising i was doing anything. I pick up her textbook and do some gay shit about quizzing her on her coursework:

"Barney enjoys what for a first date?"

And random shit like that, it was lame but funny enough for me. Then I go ultra gay, I don't even think this works, if not detrimental but its a 'routine' I made up and is the only scripted type of shit I've ever been able to remember in my life, so I use it. I take get them to pose whilst I take a photo on my phone and say "Hold on, let me put it on 'Beauty Face' setting", its hardcore lame. But I guess it's an SOI and a good juxtaposition on my more sarcastic, breaking rapport type humour.

We go McDonalds for our first date as I joke about it, well gay but I was messing around not too bothered about my next big pick-up and more about flirting, not being friend-to-friend. After I have to go to my lesson and I do the classic lift-them-off-the-ground hug which she does not let go for a long time. Oh and I #closed her, cba to go back and type that part in where it happened.

The strange concoction of sleep deprivation, alcohol consumption and fast food has left me in a funny mood to write this field report like this, in a different style.
