I also agree with this. I've been on a date from PoF before, she was hot but it was like talking to a brick wall. After 20mins of 1-sided conversation and 1 drink I told her I had to go. She was cool with it. Funny thing was when we parted ways she snogged my face off - the most passionate thing about our date

I'll keep this short and sweet, like me.

Went out last night with some friends at uni. Spent the entire night just chatting to people I know, boogying and getting smashed.

Towards the end I saw this girl, one of those girls I always see around university and wanted to speak to, she was next to me at the bar.

So we start speaking and use a smooth line about how I always see her around uni and I I always stare at her a bit too much because she's attractive. Turns out she's greek so I say "You're economy went bankrupt because you always smash plates after you've eaten and only have houmous".

We go outside, and I introduce her to my friends, I say I need to the toilet and Ill be right back, upon arriving it turns out my friend has used that as an opportunity to get with her and go to the dance-floor. I was fucking pissed. An asian girl I know came up to me to speak and was telling everyone I fuck hookers which led to the phrase "I was going to meet one but i was all wanked out", anyway I could have taken her home too but I was so pissed at my mate that I couldn't really enjoy my night.

Reflecting on the interaction I could have taken her/escalated to the dance floor way earlier on in the conversation outside and avoided all that, ESACALAAAAAAAAAATE.

Fucking friends. Im still drunk possibly. Another thing was that to speak to more girls I see around uni as its evident I'm not creeping them out constantly glaring.

If I see her around uni again I'll go for it. Lesson learnt: escalate, go out more in home town where my uni people are, women are secretly impressed by beards and fucking hookers.

Also whilst speaking to a guy I managed to point out his girlfriend out of all the girls in the entire club and say "look at that fat chick" and do some major back-peddling so he thought I meant she was very pretty.

This was always a huge issue for me. The only answer is to start taking risks and potentially fucking it up with many girls. Keep at it, and you'll get it right.
