Went out today for a quick hour, met up with Nick, did 4 approaches, I'm still all over the place; some stop and wait for me but I have no idea what to say after about 30 seconds.

The best one went on for 1minute but yeah that was still not great, managed to drag it on for a few more lines of conversation but went blank.

Its funny that during the day I have issues with conversation but at night its just the approach/open as I can talk bare shit to girls at night, I'm quite a chatty guy.

Out tomorrow day and night. Friday and Saturday will be some big days. Hopefully Jynx'll be out on the weekend, we'd have a good laugh.

At face value you could argue that in the day it's not an obvious social environment for either you or the girl, and at night it is. It's safe to assume you and the girl will also have had a few drinks at night, again this helps.

The more you push yourself out of your comfort zone, the more at ease you will become... so much so that the girl will reciprocate your vibe and it will feel normal.

Went out last night to meet Jynx and D, on the train I got chatting to 2 girls on for a night out and had a good laugh, #-closed one of them as she was into me. This got me in the mood for the night out and when I was asking for directions for this club I couldn't find, i got into a few random chats. In the line I was having a laugh with a few people too.

Definitely needed before going in the club.

Met Jynx and D and straight away we got on it, both insane guys, hadn't seen anything like it, and I did a few approaches, introducing myself to people, had a sick night all round really. Realised approaching ain't much of a big thing, still had trouble carrying on conversation after a minute or 2 but only when it was me walking up to them, if it was at the bar or next to each other I could have a normal conversation.

I remember on one or two occasions girl just giving J or D the look and turning around but they just re-opened and ended up getting with them, that was cool, hadn't seen that before.

Went out Monday night to Pout/Revolutions with some guy I met at the SS, both newbies at it and it was a good night. Procrastinated like a bitch on the approach but finally got into the swing of things. Most of them went pretty awful or just led nowhere but a 2 or 3 went aiight.

Ended up hanging out and meeting my wing's friends who were in there too, nearly got a make-out twice but I fucked it up. Was an interesting night and I needed it tbh

My general aim is just to push it that little bit harder each night I go out, I know to approach sooner and more frequently.

Defo! As soon as you are out just get opening. Tell yourself the first 5 approaches do not count they are just warm-ups with the intention of getting you walking towards strangers and opening your mouth. Ask things like: Directions, What time the venue closes?, What cocktail they are drinking? Anything just to begin to socially lubricate yourself. When you are new, just doing that builds state and momentum.
