Weds 22nd April,

This one's brief. Wasn't in the mood to go out and was running pretty late. Anyway, stepped out went to the font, but couldn't get in (no student pass )

Anyway met up with Kowalski and his lovely lady briefly. To be honest, I wasn't feeling particularly sociable. Couldn't get myself to open a two set sitting on the table opposite, even with Kowalski there.

Went on to the venue night club for 30 mins. In total, I made 3 approaches, 2 ladies and 1 guy. No real hooks, no conversations. I was feeling tired, wanted to sleep and shit etc. Just not in the zone.

If I go out tonight, I wanna just find out before I go out a cool venue to go to. Bare in mind I cannot stay out for too long.

Thursday 23rd April.

Out with Legend for a few hours. Town was dead pretty much. No interactions worthy of mentioning. All the student places seemed to be happening though! But we weren't allowed in without Student ID!

So my mission, is to get Student ID, any Ideas?

If you know any one that is a student and is a good friend you get them to got to were they got there NUS card and get them to say they lost it and get a new one then give it to you!!! You get the card activated online with the code in the book you get with it or on the back you sign it and bang you have a NUS card that all clubs I know of take as student ID so as long as its in date you have one!!!!

Hahaha...nearly paid £4 to get into this club but managed to waggle down to 80p only to find out the place was dead, totally dead with 5 blokes to 1 and maybe 12 ppl in it haha, we lived and learnt...!
Better success on Saturday me thinks...! Might enrol for some free evening course in a college somewhere to get a student card...is that a good option? Maybe...

A bit of a blur really. Decided to hit the Vodka before I came out.
Out with Rudy, Adam, Retro, Terry and Doyle.

Went to Northern quarter. Had a couple of interactions, not in any great length. Initiated conversations, stayed in sets for 30 secs then left. I didn't approach as much as I would have liked to.

Went into Norwegian Blue in Printworks the first time. The guys went back into the Northern Quarter, but me and Adam went to Opus.

We were dancing away, I was grabbing some girls, but kept getting blown out..eventually I learn to callibrate better

Anyway, Adam went, so I headed back to Norwegian Blue where I Apocolypse Opened. She said she had a boy friend, so I spoke about the weather, then she said "Nice Offer, but I'm taken for". Wow my third Apocolypse ever!

Anyway nothing much happened in the end, so I went home - alone again

How the hell can you open solo!!!!!! This is the stupidest thing I have ever read.

I couldn’t believe that i actually read this Sap your cooler than this. Solo sarging seems scary because you don’t have the back up of your boys. This could be a problem if you need your wingmen to help you with every set that you open but mark... I know for a FUCKING FACT you don’t need your wings to be there with you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The scary thing about being socially awesome on your own is that you might find it harder to build social proof within the venue. The reason for this is because you feel like you can’t tell the people in the set that you’re having an amazing night with your non-existent friends. When your out with your wings you can tell the girl how cool your mates are, she instantly thinks this guy must be cool if he hangs around with cool people. What I have been thinking though is unless there is more than 2 people in a set a wingman is very fucking helpful you feel like your in a team and constantly making each other look cool and interesting but why not be able to do this yourself?
I find that wingmen are cool for confidence building but if your get into a good state early on in the night and don’t stand in the corner like a tool no one in the venue will even notice that your on your own. Engage in a set ASAP and as long as the conversation is meaningful and fluent the target wont even asks where your friends are. If the term wingman wasn’t invented everyone would be solo sarging a lot of people have got into there heads that if you’re a PUA you need a wingman I don’t really think this is the case.
