Before this happened, approached a few people just to warm up.
A girl smiled at me at socio, so I approached, held her hand and chatted.

I said few minutes in "can I kiss you" and she said "no"__

I'm hopeful, I will improve the more I kino and go for the kiss, I may have problems with calibration, but should make sense to me with more practice.

I have read some field report somewhere else that all you have to do is ask the HB to close her eyes and then kiss her. No question asked, JUST DO IT. Worst thing that can happen is she pushes you away (or slap you ).
Havent done it myself but would love to be in this position one day soon...so close yet so far!!!!
