hey guys, i'm really new here but i thought i would give my to cents to carmada. i'm a salesman, quite successful since i left uni. and one thing that everyone on the sales floor does is get a pitch out early. now, basically at work this means ringing a technical guy or someone from india because they love a good pitch. it gets your throat clear and your voice warmed up etc so you are pitching the decision makers you hit the ground running.
so, how does that relate to sarging? if you do have low amounts of confidence, which everyone has at some point, why not get a pitch out early? first bar you go to, rather than trying to hit on a HB8 or 9, go for a 6. Surely these girls love a good chat up, they probably get hit on less because they usually go out with their hot mates. Also, it'll make sure that you're more relaxed and once you've opened one set and got a routine out, you dont even need to close the poor thing, just takeaway. (and if the rest of the night blows, make sure you find out where she is off to so you have a back up :P) what do people think?

I have to ask Camarda, what is the goal that you're trying to achieve?
From your posts it appears that you are able to attract women and close them (certainly more than what I can do at the moment) yet, to me, you seem oddly downbeat about it all?

'they give you ec the hot ones, but only for a split second, a micro second, and always slyly. never obvious. well thats my experience anyway' Don't they just. Little minxes. I'd also add with some girls it's just the once to, miss it and it's gone forever. Last night I was out in a bar I often frequent, a live band was playing, I was tapping my feet to the music sat down but then thought 'fuck it!' I like this, im going to dance. So I get up and dance. Before long various groups of girls join in, some with boyfriends who reluctantly 'dad dance'. I'm a sic dancer (deluded perhaps) so im getting a fair bit of attention, I notice a fair few of them checking me out and doing that thing girls always subtly do to get your attention on the dancefloor; back into you until they're practically grinding you. Anyway I'm more concerned about enjoying the experience of the music, abit like those girls you mentioned. I know girls are checking me out, sometimes catching their gaze with wry smiles on their faces. Anyway I just look through them as if they're not even there, I don't acknowledge them, just remain non facially expressive and keep on dancing. It's funny because girls then try even harder to the point I got opened with 'Hey, don't I know you from somewhere?'.

Sounds like you have a similar problem to me. I have a lot of negative thoughts about myself particularly after a set, even if it goes well. Its just a bunch of sillyness though really! just as tolle points out, these detrimental thoughts are completely pointless. We have no use for them, so why are they so fucking persistent? I dont have the answer to this yet, im reading tolle at the moment and am looking for a way out of this masochistic insanity. I know im a good way there but ive come to realise just how fucked up it all is and just how badly fucked i was before.
