Perhaps you will have to analyse things to a degree to begin to see what is good and bad first. This will put you in your head, and make things pretty unnatural, but you'd rather this than bury your head in the sand, surely. Initially it will fuck up a lot of your interactions as you are thinking about stuff. From here you can work out what is natural, and what suits you.

My suggestion would be not to analyse.

Maybe in your field reports you can.

As people, and being in pick-up, we tend to analyse enough as it is, no need to go doing it even more. Bad for your soul.

Performance may also be impaired if you are implementing new ways of performing, that is, unless you have practiced pre-performance.

Probably nowhere near as effective as practicing with real people face to face though.

Which is why it is probably nowhere near as effective performing in front of the mirror at home.

So back to my original point... Performance can be impaired if you go into your head and are aware of shit you should be doing as a result of analysis. Who cares if you think you are practicing or performing. Life is one big learning experience.
