Perhaps I have got this wrong, but I fail to see how such a term which encompasses the above example could ever also encompass me. Thus I feel to call me a troll is not only inaccurate it is very undeservingly insulting and rude, and one might argue that it is quite trollish in itself.

took offense (it was not given) at an abhorrent meaning that you assigned to it arbitrarily. You'll find the widely-accepted meaning is less offensive and is in alignment with many of your musings within this community.
You seem to have a lot of problems from people's use of the English language such as with Broadsword in this thread. This is your problem, not theirs and it is something you may wish to resolve if you plan to remain part of online communities without feeling offended all of the time.
Admittedly my assessment of you as a troll maybe incorrect but if your posts are for real then that would be a scary prospect indeed.
