I won't be replying to what you said on the other thread, because you chose to read what I said completely wrong and pointlessly name-call.

However, on this thread you gave some advice. Shocked, genuinely didn't think you'd be the one to actually give some advice.

I just write the things that work for me. The only reason I can think why it would come across so fake, is because it originally was for me - I'm only human, I messed up and read some crap about manipulation and what-not when I first started, so I accepted a "Fake it til you make it" kind of attitude. I picked up a lot of bad habits, arrogance, and thought it was all about "Never show any emotion, always ACT distant, always ACT like you're better than her, PRETEND to do this, ACT like that..." as you can see.. acting and pretending... whilst doing 99% push and 1% pull (the 1% being when I caved and let my real, needy self out).

Luckily, I realised that all of this acting had left me even unhappier than being rejected - I felt like "Oh wow, I either act like myself and they don't want me. So the very few girls I do get, are only attracted to what I pretend to be" and I got sick of it, so I decided to actually work on my confidence, rather than pretending to be some kind of arrogant polished-turd.

To cut a (very) long story short: it used to all be an act, now it isn't...maybe that shows in my writing? Maybe it even shows in other areas, thinking about it. Is this something that happens to other guys? Maybe I'm just rambling, maybe I'm on to something.

And you say you teach people?

I made those comments about qualifying and approval seeking as a joke.. I could have chosen anything at random.. I also said something about using a "neg" somewhere, and I was doing the exact same thing.. because I find it funny how technical people can be, with all of the made-up terms that get thrown around. I think that is what intrigued me to check out this PUA stuff a little more. But like I said, I've found 99% trolls. weirdly it seems to be relationship forums where the nice people can be found, but I can't learn anything there. So one has too many trolls, and the other has nothing I don't already know. What a sticky situation.
