Ok my text game is actually fairly tight but I'm not too sure about this one.
I text this girl a couple of nights ago and she didn't reply, so I dropped Natural Tim's 'your'e a shit head now' and a couple of mins later she text back (thank you Natural Tim.)
'Oh hi yeah I remember you, what was your name again?'
We had had a pretty good interaction but her mum was with her at the time lol, so it was a pretty quick one (I had no idea it was her mum.) Anyhoot, I wasn't really sure what to reply with cos I obviously had to give her my name but I wanted to come across as playful about it and a little cocky, so I replied with this
'The name's Sean. You should really get it tattoo'd on your left bum cheek so you don't forget. x'
I thought this was a pretty good comeback coming from the position of being another one of the nameless guys that would have undoubtedly chatted her up that same night, but anyway she didn't reply.
So does anyone think this was a bit too cheeky, or forward. Obviously people are different and some girls would have found that quite funny, but does anyone think I should have been a little more subtle. Also would be interested to hear what other peeps might have replied with, and what I should text her next. She is pretty hot so advice would be appreciated.

No problems with that at all - I don't think you should have been more subtle at all - that response was cheeky and fun but not offensive or too rude and if she wasa HB and she knew it then she probably finds men are reluctant to approach or interect from time to time and so being forward and cheeky will stand you in good stead.

I am not great on text Game but something I am working on at the moment and funny enough this afternoon I made some progress; there are two girls I met and have texted a few times and never had a reply from them and so today I text them both with 'Hey, havn't chatted for ages - what's your favourite brekie cereal?' and within 10mins they had both text back wanting to know why I was asking...this goes to show me that the 'hey, how are you / what you doing this weekend' is stale just as those would be as openers...I use random questions (like opinion openers insets) to be different and stand out and it's very early days but looks like I am making progress on my phone Game so I was pleased with that!

PS: what is Natural Tim's shithead line about? I must have missed that thread! lol

I think this is probably more along the lines of what I should have replied with. Its just got a more subtle touch to it that is in no danger of being offensive. Anyway I'm gonna text her tomorrow night and ask he what her favourite position is.... or maybe not lol.

Ah well, I wasn't too far off then with my 'random questions' texts...good to see we're all on the same page now and again! lol
