Backround: When i was around 13yrs old i was a natural with girls, id been out with 5 girls from my year and 2 from the year above, and i had sex with 3 of them. i was popular with everyone, super confident and really easy to get along with. then over summer shit went very wrong, i gained some weight, started noticing imperfections in myself (big ears, crooked nose, chubby cheeks) and by the time i went back to school my confidence was shot to pieces. the last 2 years of school were terrible for me, i was a paranoid mess, and my social circle quickly reduced to just a handful of MALE friends. i tried to do something about my weight but i couldnt get the ripped look i once had although atleast i looked good in t-shirts. i did however have my ears pinned back and my nose really isnt that bad tbh.

Current: this gave me a bit more confidence but ever since ive never been the same, its like a mental block is stopping me from getting back to where i was. i have been with other girls but none of them are as nice as the girls i used to get (they were like 9s, nowadays its like 4/5s). so i accidentally stumbled across the PUA world a few months back and bought a few books (the game being 1st, then mystery method, then gamblers and the rules of the game) and out of all of them the game help me the most but i plan to do the 30 day challenge after my exams.

so thats me, im here to learn/gain knowledge and once im up to standard id like to come sarging with a few guys on here see how the pros do it . by summer id like to be in decent shape, im a little bit fat atm but im hoping to get leanish by july, dont know how much girls care about guys being in good shape but its important to me and it cant hurt.

With regard to your comment about whether girls care if a guy is in great shape or not; that's actually an opinion opener I use, as my mate is concious of his slight beer belly. The responses tend to be 50/50, but to be honest, the more attrative and intelligent girls tend to say that being in good shape isn't that important.

It's unlikely that it's your looks or your physical shape that's holding you back.

Re your shape and/or looks. It only matters if you think it matters. There are massive fat guys who get all sorts of attention from female folk in the same way there are ripped rugby players who get fuck all. If you believe that women will like you just for you, they will do. Simple.

the thing is i know looks arent important to some girls coz my mate is fat, average looking and going bald but hes got real charisma about him and girls just love him.

anyway i love weight training now, not so fussed on cardio, but im hoping to be leanish by july, around 15% bodyfat would be great.

You're half way there, just change that to MOST girls, and your laughing.
