I notice on this forum, every time someone does somethin weak, or PUA or says stupid things they are jumped on like by wolves

i wonder wether some people agree with the original statement but then everyone else disagreeing makes them conform, like your basically being bullied into being less of a gimp.

i mean it seems like after a while, people who appeared weak, start telling the new guys to

MAN THE FUCK UP

it always happens with those guys who stay, it betters them... i wonder what the time scale of that happenin is??

or i wonder if it is changing them... or just their online persona?

an i wonder how many on here, follow what they preach?

i would like to meet everyone on here actually! when i get my car im gonna do this. a uk tour

I'd say like you Phil, members advocate gaining confident, leadership qualities and essentially point out behaviour that cause patterns of weakness.

I think also people have different styles. Some people like yourself are very straight in terms of this = that or a + b = c, some people like to play devils advocate and some people feel stronger as a group. Sometimes users are just frustrating going round in circles so you tell them to MTFU - a point in case is the current GenePoole insecurities thread - just the same crap rehashed and rehashed, people telling him to man up and the OP wallowing in self-pity

By the look of things most members take the same journey - even looking back at some of kowalski and other users posts you see that people start of using canned material, routines and other PU guff but after a while realise that it feels fake and unnatural so then people look at what does work.

They then follow advice to become stronger minded, confident leaders rather than socially awkward youths looking for the password to girls pants...

Speaking for myself, I didn't even post much or try to give advice until I thought I was at least alright. Even when I do I try not to be too harsh about it, and only write stuff I think will actually help. It's a natural thing though, everyone likes to take on the role of the guru or the man when it comes to this, because it makes you feel relatively better about your skills.
As far as internet personnas it might be, just look at 4chan to see that the internet breeds big egos with nothing backing them up. Thing is with this stuff I feel like a fake would be sniffed out quick, its hard to fake this stuff.

Also, I've got a week off soon and I'm thinking of stopping off in a couple of cities to check their scenes out. Where's recommended?

Y'all think it's bougie, I'm like, it's fine
But I'm tryin' to give you a million dollars worth of game for $9.99

despite needing further work, PUA has taught me a greater understanding of people, and dealing with emotion, and I am a stronger more calibrated person now. I'm still a twat tho so it doesnt cure everything.. Forum Convention with celebrity signings 2012, wine and sandwiches in a hotel events tent, tuxedo's manditory.

...I see it like this; some people have made their way (atleast some of the way) down a path... they’ve bumped their toe and scrapped up their knee and bust their head open on rocks fumbling in the dark and they remember how painful all that shit was, and so they just wanna shine a light and say ‘hey watch out buddy’ to the guy behind (while still striving to move forward themselves and look out for the lights that their brothers have put up ahead). Some guy might shout ‘watch out’ louder or in a different way to the other. But when that’s what it is then it’s all coming from the same good place.

Of course it’s not always that. There will always be a few little men looking for someone to stand on because they think it makes them look tall. And spotting the difference probably gets easier after a while.

eveything that you've said phil I've seen (and participated in) on other forums with other activities as well, to the point that I'm being called an 'elitist' in other hobbies I'm involved in because I don't go out of my way to inform noobs or teach them skills every time... because I've already taught those same skill building sets with two dozen other people who came after me already, and half of them aren't even around anymore. I think it's part of the growth pattern and experience... and after hearing the same entry-level issues from noobs for the umpteenth time you begin to occasionally spout MTFU.

I don't think there's much wrong with it, so long as you're not just saying that to everyone all the time instead of every once in a while, and so long as as a collective someone is teaching the new people, rather than everyone blowing them off.
