I tried stopping some girls on the street today during lunch. Asked some simple questions like I was looking for a barber shop.

The looks I got back from them was not at all what I was expecting. I got the impression they could not wait to get away. I just dont know what I am doing wrong here. Either I just had a very bad run of luck or there is something about me that I need to change.

Without seeing me mess up I know this is a very hard thing to comment on. But any advice would be great. Or if someone has some links to great openers for day game that would also be great.

you are more than likely doing nothing wrong
its normal for lots of people to go on the defensive when stopped in the street because they feel like you are either weird or trying to sell them somthing
if somone stops me in the street my immediate reaction is 'who the fuck are you'

you're forgetting some people are just weird. their reactions could have been because they themselves are socially conditioned to only talk to people they know or drunk people on nights out.

You cant really make a judgement based on one persons reaction, there could be a million reasons why she didnt want to talk. Possibly your buying into the commercial PUA bulshit world in which there exists some perfect game that will make any woman receptive under all circumstances, well there isnt.
