I think the drinking culture in this country is fucked up not only does it encourage degenrative behavoiour as many guys get the beer goggle syndrome and bang the ugly 3am bird bringing on more upheaval to the state that will have to pay for the unwanted brat or brats in many cases.

As my father had a drink problem and was a wife beater all because of the evils of drinking at one point he had 3 houses a sports car and speed boat as a thriving builder now due to drinking he has not a pot to piss in !

And i agree with chops 50% of the population are alkies i admit i twice a week and i get cravings im quiting smoking right now that is another destrutive menace thats a nother thread

People can funtion as alcholics hold a job from low level such as most people to the extreme level of street tramp.The people on this site are mostly in there twenties so your getting away with it at the moment ten years from now the effects drinking will rear its ugly head,

In my opinion it is earned cash they should ban both it would be a heathier world and less worries for every one.

I've known many functioning alcoholics, my girlsfriends dad is one, drinks 4 cans stella everynight, goes to pub on saturday she worked out he's doing between 60 - 70 units every week, holds down a £100k a year job. He's over weight and looks about 10 years older than his 55 age.

He see's nothing wrong when his daughter nags, his wife's says he has a stressful job she just doesn't get it. Almost everyone I know drinks more than is healthy. Its fucked and society doesn't seem to give a toss almost expecting a few victims to wash up on the shore of abuse, and drinking is still seen as a test of manhood, you pussy you can't take you're beer, you light weight etc , etc.

I personally believe all drugs should be legal that way at least people can fuck up their lives with drugs that are actually fun e.g shrooms, lsd, heroin, extasy, cocaine.

all the boring drugs are legal.

I quit smoking by reading a book called 'the easy way to stop smoking by Allen Carr'. Two of my mates have read it and quit.
