Safe all of your answers seemed bang on tbh, I'm going to continue to acknowledge my feelings, without requiring validation from someone else, and if I disagree with somebody, there's no need to overly justify or clarify myself in case they're offended, instead just accepted the difference between us.

I agree with AJay, and if you think about it, you can still telegraph a confident state without verbals so you can find a way to fit it to your character.

The key, as others have said here, is to be confident in YOURSELF. Once you have the appearing alpha will be natural. Up until that point you will need to push yourself.

I agree. First you have to take care of yourself, pushing yourself, having always your own standards, aims and rules in every aspect of your life and most important not seeking validation from others (but rather let others validate themselves to you) makes you an Alpha. It requires determination and courage... the confidence will come naturally. But in the end it's worth it not only because you can get girls to be attracted to you, but your life as a whole will be better.

Greatness comes to those who take it.

I think the whole Alpha Male thing is a load of balls, they say it harks back to our days of survivalists wanting to mate with the most women, but the way I see it modern society and social situations are a hell of a lot more complex than just clubbing another male over the head and shagging his missus.

The things people percieve as alpha are easily replicatable and every bloke has the power to do them, even my gay friends can do things most people would call "alpha behaviour" and they're camp as christmas.

I think the solution is to break down exactly which characteristics you are after mastering to be what you call "alpha", and work on each one of those seperately. Confidence being the main one, but also body language and making sure everybody is always talking about what YOU want to be talking about.

The only thing that sets an alpha male apart from anyone else is that he is in control of his own emotions and that of the people around him.

That shit can't be learned in any book.

Agreed, but it can be learned in practise. And good practise techniques can be learned in a book.
