It's a gram per pound, 2.2 per kilo. I used to do three grams of protein per pound and I grew fast! It was very expensive though. I might try GOMAD. A gallon of milk a day, to get loads of cheap extra protein. Better than steroids, they say.

Mystery pretty much had it right in terms of what women respond to. However thats now seen as less marketable than the "new" message that social status etc don't matter.

However, all this "make yourself look good" is, as is shown by some posts in this thread, open to serious misinterpretation. The way I see it, by all means go to the gym a couple of times a week, eat well and take care of your appearance, but if you start taking "2 grams of protein for every gram of bodyweight", busting out the fake tan and wearing douchebag t-shirts to attract girls, you are an absolute tool and people (me included) will laugh at you.

I think the key is confidence. I did my dissertation on self-efficacy (yawn), all research is conclusive in that greater perceived confidence in whatever situation is directly related to outcome.

Looks aside, If going to the gym gives you greater confidence then keep at it. I have become much more confident over the last few months and have seen my success with women increase at the same time.

I think you need to change your mentality there Silver. How about thinking, who will I choose?
