I have almost never used online dating services.

I installed Tinder one time in Cordoba but no one was on it because it's quite a small place where many people know each other. Installed it a second time in Marrakech where more or less everyone is in it for the money.

I'm in Madrid now. Seems like it would work better here; a city of anonymity, wealth and not much religious bullshit.

I've seen a few of you brag about having Tinder figured out and occasionally threaten to share the knowledge (definitely Jaz and Stein be talking shit).

I always find Tinder is either famine or feast for me, I'm either drowning in pussy or nobody's talking to me and I've not found a rhyme or reason for it...

Things that I've found work personally

Pictures - minimum of 3.
Principle photo should be either the photo that makes you look the most attractive (mine is me in a suit with an open collar shirt and a real bow tie untied).
Also an epic photo of you doing something awesome that not many people have done works well (think ice mountain climbing rather than cliché skydiving)

You want a second photo of you doing a fun/interesting activity. I have a snowboarding photo and a climbing one.

I recommend a 3rd of you in a group with a girl. I've heard multiple theories ranging from social proof to putting a girl's safety at ease because other women are willing to hang around with you. Either way I find a get a few more bites with a social group photo...

Profile blurb - Short & sweet with a little humour. ex:
"I'm like a microwave meal, ready in 5 mins and look nothing like the photo

Messaging - I usually start with a little teasing and joking at something in their photo's or blurb along with a few standard questions and push for a number/meet after a few messages

Been using Tinder for years and years and have a pretty much steady stream of pussy of it whenever I want (and whatever country). In many ways it's got worse, in many ways it's got better. I’ll leave the “game” to you.

Tinder is gamified to make men spend money, when you understand the algorithm and how rankings work, you can play the system. With each "fresh" account, I generally get a few hundred matches in two weeks. Out of those, a handful of hotties.

I'll address two things.

1) Profile. You need decent pics, about 4 but 5 is ideal. Not all selfies either. By all means go out and pose them. If you are unsure if they are 'good' - then use a service like https://www.photofeeler.com/. Your profile should be light-hearted and fun. You should also connect your Instagram and Spotify if you have them (this boosts your ranking). Feel free to lie about your age using a fake FB profile (28 is ideal age apparently)

2) Tinder gold is an absolute must, but before you do - when you create a new profile, do not swipe on ANYONE. Leave it to “rest” for 24 hours. THEN purchase tinder gold, wait another 24 hours (not swiping) hen (with tinder gold) you will be able to see all the birds that have liked you. Like every single one of these (even the pigs) – this boost your profile rating very high as in you will now have a 100% match rate. At this point, use your “boost”. Then take your pick of any hotties that come knocking.

I have never ever had much luck at all with online dating websites etc. I think the main reason is that men tend to outnumber women on such sites by around four to one. So the numbers are heavily stacked against you. I did manage to get a few dates. But these were mostly with low value women like single unemployed mothers. I started using those sites way back in early 2001. And wondered why despite sending out hundreds of messages I got very few replies. Then I looked at the number of male members and the number of female members and found that there were around four times as many men on the site as women.
