has anyone used pof successfully to meet women?, from my experience i send out alot of messages and only get a few replies. I have arranged 2 dates though. Has anyone used any adult dating sites to meet women for hook ups? or as i expect they look like a waste of time with alot of fake profiles.

They're good but it involves having to be quite witty and on point with each message you send. Plus understanding how to market yourself with your profile.

In face-to-face interactions you can have normal casual conversation and let it build over time (Whether that's 10 minutes, 1 hour or 3 days etc).

I'm struggling to get something up online at the moment. Is it just me that doesn't like being in photos? I feel as if I need to have one of me rock climbing or something, not just a webcam selfie of me at my computer with WOW on the screen in the background (I'm exaggerating of course). And I cringe every time I draft a profile. But with nothing up there I've zero chance of anything. It feels like the strangest thing to be doing, but at one time I thought that about talking to strangers in the street.

I agree with Nova though it should be an extra thing to do when you're out of field.
