I get what you mean, but you almost make it sound like hitting up craigslist for prostitutes. You still have to hit people up, meet up with them and make everything happen. Aside from minor things it’s not particularly different from trying to fuck a girl you know or some random girl in a nightclub.
The longer I do this sort of thing and the better it gets the less it feels like I’m doing something other than being completely normal, and as a result I’m less and less bothered. Sometimes I feel like going for a night out and taking a girl home at half 3, sometimes I want to meet up with a new girl at a bar round the corner from my flat and do the same. And if I can arrange the latter through an app on my phone on the bus I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Still seems pretty dull when I compare it to meeting people for real. It almost takes away some of the mystery of 'does she like me', or 'what is this all about?'

I think game is game, you either have the attitude and social skills or you don't. Talking to the girls on the street, in a club or on the net has it's own merits and benifits which some people prefer.

Why is there such a dislike of picking up girls on the internet?

The whole thing brings around a bit of a stigma, is it creepy? is it socially acceptable? It's one of those grey area's where most people have an one-sided opinion of it. I mean personally I have to agree with Phil, there's a lot of thrill in the chase and the reward is that much sweeter, it just seems doing it on-line lets you prepare your response and give a well thought out game plan which would be a lot harder (if at all possible) to do in person. Although I do agree that using it in addition to other means of meeting women could be ok, who am I to rule it out completely?

People are getting to caught up in this. For me... If you add girls that you find hot from the picture out of randomness just to try and 'game' over facebook then that's creepy as fuck. If you have girls already on your friends list that you may know through Friend or have bumped into or they've added you then there is no problem with having a chat and trying to et to know them. You shouldn't wait to respond until you have something witty or funny or awesome to say you should just chat to them.

I talk to loads of girls on facebook! I don't try and game them and I don't randomly add them. I just chat and if there is something in common then meet up with them. Meeting people on nights out and on the street is deffinatley the way forward but if you happen to have some cuties on facebook and wish to chat to them well then chat to them.

Personally, I don't have the patience to message girls on dating sites. I'm also a big fan of the chance encounter. Just look at film story lines and romance novels. I guess I'm just a big romantic at heart.
