Well I just set up two dates (with an interesting story for one of them) whilst sipping on my tea and dancing to "Play Hard" By David Guetta.

I actually have no problem with day game, in fact I'd like to join you on some (and for a catch up) if you're free this week.

'Facebook' game requires some effort. It is a case of each to their own....at the moment I like the unpredictability of real-life conversation.

However, I know people who get regularly laid purely from online game...but not Facebook, through POF (although he gets a fair dose of nutters haha)

Anyway Ill type it up into something more concrete but right now I've realised in order to get replies you have to start off using pretty precise messages that increase your chances of a reply rather than casual "Hey how's it going?" like you can do in real-life.

As I've found out from another thread its about making them curious such as "Can I ask you a weird question?" stuff like that whilst verbalising you're being a creepy weird-o over the internet.

Example

"Can I ask you a weird question?"
"Errr okay"
"Do you like creepy guys Facebooking you :P Like this haha"

From there its about investment and flirting till you're having a proper conversation then set up the date.

I wouldnt say it's that simple, I think like anywhere social skills and attraction come in to play so it's not as easy as add to cart. Plus in a world filled with instant gratification you need to be good to go from the first message

I have too many friends who rely on POF and add girls in Facebook in order to desperately try and get some. Online game is a sad reflection of their lazy and timid attitude towards meeting new people. As easy as it seems on face value, as Smiley K says, the irony is in the amount of effort you need to put in with messaging, and still both of you could be wasting each other’s time. Why do this when you could just walk up to someone and connect within a few minutes.

Sometimes you just know when you like each other, this can only happen in person. This is when the real shit happens.
