Some on here seem to be attempting to mask the fact they are approaching girls with the idea that they are incidentally out with 'mates'. For me, there is no shame in going out 'on the pull' with the lads, be it the bars & clubs or the streets. There is no distinction to be made here.

I talk about it with pretty much everyone in my life. That is beside the point. I don't pretend that i'm not out meeting girls by using getting pissed with forum 'mates' as a foil.

I did and i do tell. If i thought it was weird why would i write a 6 month thread of open discussion about it?

When I'm out with Nova he talks openly about this with whomever, this is generally the pattern; first off they find it absurd/odd/creepy, they then witness the results for themselves and they are intrigued, some then want to try it for themselves, the vast majority fail because they aren't prepared to put themselves out there and put the graft in, they then rationalise their failures/fear as 'oh it was weird anyway' to protect their pathetic ego's.

None of my new post-relationship friends know i have any part in this (pick-up). But I don't kid myself. I do set myself time to work on this. I do boast though to people that i've grown, but I don't specifically say it's to do with women (see Anthony Robbins 7 aspects of happiness, where "personal growth" is an aspect of happiness), It's something i'm proud of and it gives value to people I tell, especially to people I find a little sad.

I don't know about this one it can be a bit of a tough topic, I've mentioned once or twice that I was going out 'on the pull' to a friend before after being asked what I was up to, and some people can be a bit judgmental about it often making comments about how they thought I was immature or shallow.

So it's left me a bit reluctant to state my intentions so I might just say, I'm out with a mate. I'm guessing your point was aimed more at what is said when actually out, to which I generally feel this fear of being judged badly upon continues.

Guess you could call it cowardice, I just don't want to be perceived as that pervy guy that just goes out after tail (no matter how true the statement might be).

Pretty much every single person who goes to a club is after sex or at least the thought of it.

I don't know, occasionally I go just to have a drink and dance like an idiot, but rarely, very ... very rarely...

I've spoke to my mates about it and they don't mind. But that might be due to the fact I got out to have a laugh and refer to picking up women as 'pimping'. Just makes it seem like i don't take it a seriously as I actually do.

Plus my mates have seen my results and I've helped a couple get into girls and even got 1 lad (who had only had sex 1ce before) get laid.

Then again I have been known to do some pretty daft shit in the past before I found out about the whole 'PUA' thing so the idea of me going out to get in to women is normal in comparesent to stuff I used to do for fun.

And lets face it, almost every one wants sex so it shouldn't be such a taboo subject.
